POV Sharlene

I already know about So Hyun's Dad. But I can't confront her.

"Sharlene, do you see me as your friend?"

"I am not sure."

"Why are you so cold to me?"

"Do you believe that the person whom you can tell your secrets is your friend?"

"Of course!"

"And someone whom you can't tell a secret is not your friend?"

"Why are you asking that?"

"Am I your friend?"

"Sharlene, honestly, you're only my friend."

"But I don't have one, So Hyun."

"What do you mean?" So Hyun asked.

"I have secrets that I can't just share," I told her.

"Really? Can I be your friend then?"

"I'll think about it."

"Shar ah, don't you really consider me as your friend?"

"So Hyun ah, do you consider me as your friend?" I asked her in return.

She did not answer.

"Do you know there are a lot of pretty roses in the world?"

She just looked at me.

I turned my back.

"Pretty roses catch the interest of most people because of their flowers. Sometimes we consider others as our friends because we are attracted to the comfort they may offer." I told her then decided to leave. But after my first step...

"Sharlene, I hope you won't change your mind of letting Donny."

POV Donny

I miss Shar's presence. I feel like I have to see her. She's like an electric current when I am like a drained battery. I have to see her everyday.

I went to her school. I saw her and CJ together.

The energy that is running to me is suddenly shut down. 

I waited them to go out of the gate. I decided to follow them.

Then suddenly, Shar became so happy being with CJ after staring at me. She even laugh louder.

I feel like I wanted to grab Shar from him. I continue to follow them. Before CJ could put his right arm to Shar's shoulder, I was there. I stopped CJ from doing it. That started my jealousy which I couldn't figure out why I'm feeling that way.

"Ouch..." CJ said feeling painful as I am holding his arm.

"Donny, what are you doing?" asked Shar being annoyed of what I am doing.

"I'm just trying to give him a lesson," I answered.

"There's no need to do that Donny," she said.

Then CJ just hit me using his left hand.
I hit him back. Shar helped CJ instead of me. The more that I got jealous. I hit CJ once again. CJ hit me back. I am in pain not because of CJ's punch but because of Shar.

"Donny, why are you doing this?" she asked me with blame.

"Sharlene, common let's go," CJ requested Shar.

Without second thought, Shar just left me.

I grab Shar's arm and run away from CJ.

"Donny, stop it," she told me trying to let go of my hand. But I held her hand tightly.
