Stark's CEO

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Tony pushed Obadiah down onto his couch and stared at him unblinkingly.

"Tony, I think he's gonna need a little more context than that," muttered Pepper. He nodded.

"To quote dad's will, I was supposed to be able to get the company from aged 16 and above. I was 17 when they died, what the fuck. Why were you keeping this from me."

"Kid, you were unstable, you were drinking, you didn't know right from wrong! I was trying to protect you, you always had input, you were never forced to do anything. It was all the good things about running a company without running a company."

"I- what?"

"I did this to protect you, not to hurt you. Your dad put into my part of the will if you were able to take over you could but if I didn't think it was right, it was my call."

"Well, technically, I should've taken it there and then. Also, what's with the fake will?"

"I had to. You'd question it otherwise and we'd end up fighting - I didn't want to go there so soon."

"You said I had input in everything - you spoke to me once every 3 months."

"You live, like, 5 minutes down the road."

"I shouldn't have to ask you. Look, get the papers ready, I want the company tomorrow, no later."

"Tony, did you not know? Before your father died, he made a connection that as soon as you turned 21, you'd own the company. You're already CEO," said Pepper, looking at some files in her arms.

"You didn't tell me this before because..?"

"Because you only actually turned 21 two and a half minutes ago." Tony nodded slowly.

"Huh. Well, nice to see you, Obi, but I gotta get to work."

"Stark, get back here," Obadiah growled. Tony dragged Pepper back to the car and Staine followed them out. Tony opened the door for Pepper and once she stepped in, he shut it behind her. Then, he got into his side of the car and rolled down the window.

"See you in 3 months, Obi." Then he sped off, leaving Obadiah looking like an idiot stood on his driveway.

OKAY SO

basically I'm lazy and don't wanna write in stuff that you've probably already seen, so Iron Man 1,2 and majority of 3 happen (up until Tony and Rhodey try and kill the Manderin) and the rest of the Avengers films happen up until Iron Man 3, so Tony knows the rest of the current Avengers if that makes sense. I'm a lazy bitch and don't wanna write everything in, because I'm also bound to make mistakes :) Sorry this was a really really really short chapter but I wanna get into the rest of the storyline without everything seeming so rushed (not that it isn't already but I'm just tryna not make this worse lmaooo)
