James reached over to Celeste's side of the bed. And he shot up, when he felt nothing there. He looked around the bedroom, and couldn't see any sign of her. He shook himself awake, and rubbed away the sleep from his eyes. He got out of the bed, and began searching for some of his clothes. He grabbed a clean pair of boxers from his dresser, and grabbed the jeans he was already wearing, up off the floor. He pulled them over his legs, and jumped up, getting the rest to his waist.

      "Celeste?" He called out.

But he got no answer. From other end of the apartment, he could hear music. He made his way out of the bedroom, zipping up his jeans, as he went. As he started some the hall, he could smell food cooking, and could see Celeste was busy in the kitchen. He got closer, and could hear the music. It was, The Shoop Shoop Song, by Cher.
James quietly snuck himself into the kitchen, sitting down at the table. Watching as Celeste cooked, and danced. The entire kitchen smelled of eggs and sausages. He rested his elbow on the table, and rested his chin in his hand. Her hair was messy ponytail, that was barely held together by her scrunchy, and she was wearing one of his white dress shirts. It barely covered at the bottom, as she danced and twisted to the song. He had to keep himself from giggling, he thought it was adorable.
She sang along to the song, using the spatula as a microphone. She kept pointing out to the air, and waving her fingers, no, to the music. James snorted, from a giggle. But she didn't hear him. She was at the stove flipping sausages in a pan, as she twisted her body low. Everytime her hips swing, James eyes would dart directly to them.
He didn't want the moment to end. He couldn't get enough of how she was acting. He had never seen anything that cute before.
James watched, as Celeste turned off the stove. She grabbed a plate of eggs, that were on the counter. And grabbed the frying pan. She turned, to bring them to the kitchen. And nearly jump out of her skin, when she seen James. She screamed out, and dropped a coupled sausages.

      "Jesus Christ!" She yelled.

"I'm sorry beautiful!" He replied. Trying to hold back his laughter.

Celeste walked over to the table, stepping over the dropped sausages. She placed the plate of eggs in front of James. Scooping up, what was left of the sausages from the pan, and placing them on his plate. She ran over to the fridge, and grabbed a bowl of fruit. Placing it on the table, she sat down beside james. Bringing her knees up to her chest.

"Where did you get the fruit? I didn't have any? I don't think...? Unless you count that three month old orange, in the back of my fridge." James said. Taking a bite a sausage.

"Okay, for one, I ordered the fruit from the store down the street. They do delivery. And second, that's fucking gross! Haven't you heard of throwing things out?" She said. Staring at him, with her brow furrowed.

"Okay, for one, awesome with the ordering of fruit. Thank you for that. And second, um, no. I couldn't throw it away. By the second month, it had become decoration." He replied. Throwing his arms up, and shrugging.

All Celeste could do, was roll her eyes at him, as she tried not to smile. James blew her a playful kiss, and she rolled her eyes even harder. James reached into the fruit bowl, and grabbed a piece of watermelon. It still had the seeds in it. He placed it in his mouth, and slowly chewed around the few seeds. Once he swallowed the melon, he kept the seeds in his mouth. And when Celeste wasn't looking, he'd spit one at her.
The first one, shot her in the neck. She jumped, looked at James with a wide stare, as she reached and rubbed her neck. She mouthed, stop it, to him. He spat another one, and it hit her in the chest. He looked off into the distance, like he didn't do anytning. She reached for her chest, and looked at him, her eyes were wider than before, they were filled with annoyance.
He spat another one, and this time, he hit her in the forehead. He looked off to the distance again, acting innocent. She reached for her forehead, rubbing it. She looked more annoyed than each time. James looked back to her, and acted shocked. He mouthed the words, what happened?, acting even more shocked, when he seen the seeds on the table.
Celeste bite her bottom lip, and shook her head. She reached into the bowl, and grabbed a grape. And threw it at James. Nailing him in the forehead. He looked at her stunned. Celeste looked away, and acted innocent, like he did. She slowly looked back, and made her expression fill with shock. She mouthed the words, what happened?, and then she raised her eyebrows, in surprise.
James looked at her, unimpressed, but was also trying to hold a back a big smile. He looked her dead in the eyes, and mouthed the word, bitch. Celeste was appalled. She grabbed the bowl of fruit, and dumped it on him. She burst into laughter. James sat in his seat dumbfounded. He looked over at her, and she was hiding behind the couch, laughing.

"Hokay! Chu want to play ruff!" James said. In his best Scarface impression.

He got up from his chair, and went to the fridge. Celeste was still behind the couch, laughing.

"What are you going to do?! Huh?!" She said. Trying to egg him on.

James reached into the fridge, and place his hand on the old, three month orange.

"Hokay! We'll play ruff! Say ello to my little frend!" James shouted. As he pulled the old orange.

"Whoa! What are you doing with that?! That's gross James, put it down!" Celeste shouted. As fear covered her face, and she slowly back away from the couch. Holding her hands in front of her.

James stood still, with the orange in his hand. Throwing it up and catching it. He gave her a playful smile, and watched as she slowly back away. She kept telling him to put it down, and, to not do what he's thinking. He threw the orange from one hand, to the other. James looked away for second. And then, he took off after Celeste.

"No James! No!" She laughed, as she ran down the hallway.

James chased her into the bedroom, and closed the door behind him. And nothing but laughter filled the room, between them.
