CHAPTER SIX
____________"No, that's dumb."
"What do you mean, that's awesome!"
"Why would the first place she see him be on the TV? That's so unromantic."
"Well, that's how all good love stories start."
"No it isn't! She has to like, run into him on the street, spill something on him."
"Oh my god."
"What?"
"I would so fall in love with you if you stained my clothes."
"Would you cut that out."
"Exactly, you know how dumb that sounds!"
"It works!"
""Mom, how'd you meet dad?" "Well, you see honey, mommy spilled some nice hot coffee all over his nice clothes. Isn't that romantic?""
"Stoooop Elliot!"
"It sounds dumb!"
"That isn't going to be in the book!"
"Maybe, but it's still a dumb idea."
"What if we did your stupid TV idea for when she first sees him, and then my great idea for when they first meet?"
"... Fine."
"Great, write that in."
"Now what about a romantic meeting with Samuel?"
"There is none, they work together."
"Well, okay."
"What does that mean?"
"Nothing, just okay."
"We need them to both have occupations. What would Juniper be?"
"Can she be like a writer, and then Kyle can be a writer, and then they have to write a story together and—"
"Just stop talking. Let me write the story."
"..."
"This isn't funny business, Tigger. Juniper can be a journalist, and then Kyle can be some high class celebrity."
"Business man seems more realistic."
"Fine. He can be the CEO of something."
"What is this? Wattpad?"
"Listen, girls dig that stuff."
