Chapter 13

Maria's POV

    After not going to school for the rest of week knowing my mom called and told them why. I've been depressed and sad over my dad's death and shoving food in my mouth and sleeping because of the little human growing in me. Getting a call looking down at my phone to see its Sara. I answer the phone " Hey chocolate muffin"she says to me "hey ginger head what's up" I say back to her. " not much just checking on you and the baby growing baby and stuff" thinking and rubbing my stomach"we are great thanks for checking on us but I'll call you back later I'm not feeling to well" I say to her " ok talk later David and I have a date anyways" knowing she's smiling I say "have fun" and then the line goes dead.

    Thinking I need to figure out who the dad is. I text Kevin knowing its the worst mistake I could make but I need to know who my babies dad is. Texting Kevin you need to take a DNA test you asshole you probably got me pregnant from what you did I say to him. Waiting for a text back from him I never got one which was crazy because I've been waiting for 30 min.

    Calling Eddie and after 3 rings he answers " hey babe can you come over " I ask and he says "of course princess I'll be there in a sec" smiling "ok". Going down stairs in my pjs which are a huge t shirt and leggings. Grabbing a cutip from the downstairs bathroom and setting it on the counter in the kitchen. Sitting down thinking about this whole situation and what I'm going to do I hear the door bell.

   I run opening the door seeing eddie. I hug him and give him a kiss on the cheek. "Missed me that much princess " he says " Yea I did"  he leans down kissing me back after about a good and quick make out session I tell him to come in and he does closing and locking the door behind him.

        Feeling a little nervous because I keep thinking about the baby but I try to hide my emotions but clearly I didn't do a good job. "What's wrong gorgoues" he says with a concerned face expression I say " its nothing but close your eyes real quick and open your mouth" he looks at me weird but says ok. I grab a few grapes and the cutip I first throw a 2 grapes in his mouth and he chews them saying " nice throw please continue I'm hungry " laughing I do and then I go closer swiping the cutip quick and fast on the inside of his mouth and replace it with a grape before he opens his eyes.

  I say be right back running to my room and placing the cutip in a small plastic bag I have in my room for no reason at all. Running back down stairs I see Eddie looking at me " what" I say to him "what you mean whati saw that white thing " thinking I got caught I say " I'm sorry I didn't mean to I had to because I need to see if you were the father of my baby" I say to him. He looks at me shocked then angry" what do you mean father of your baby maria" he says in a low voice

    " well I tho-thought" before I could explain he says " who else were you fucking huh ? I'm not the father of your baby I can't be it'll ruin my life and my dreams" I feel completely broken and crushed I try to grab him but he pulls away and walks away saying " I wanna break up" looking at him shocked walking fast behind him " you don't mean that " while crying " yes I do I don't date sluts who claim their baby as mine" he says and gets in his car driving away.
