Maria's POV

Waking up my eyes fluttering open but to only be shut again by the bright light. Rubbing my eyes and opening them I hear my mother cry out " my baby maria " hearing her sobs made me feel horrible I knew I should of told her what happened between Kevin and I. I touch her hand that happened to laying on my hospital bed. She quickly down at me smiling with tears in her eyes.

I tell her " I'm sorry mom " hearing her tell me " shhh baby we will talk about this later but for now I'm just glad you ate alright and you have some friends who came to see you " looking around thinking I hate hospitals to only have Sara jump on my bed and hug me. Laughing a little " sara I miss you to but your hurting me a little bit " watching her move back with a sad smile " I'm sorry maria I didn't mean to but who ever did this to you I'll kick his sorry ass " telling her " its ok no need to do that " .

David walks up with a sad smile also I think I must look pretty bad right now. Frowning at my thought. " hope you feel better maria " looking up to see David had said that I sit up telling him " thanks David " and lastly Eddie is right in front of me but all I could do is grab his hand, pulling him down to give him a hug. Hearing him sniffle I look up to see he had been crying his eyes are puffy and red. " you shouldn't have did that maria you shouldn't have saved me " looking at him shocked thinking I deserve a damn thank you I tell him " well I didn't want you hurt after you just met me" hearing him reply " doesn't matter I should have been the one to save you" looking into his blue eyes I quickly say " hey its ok you fought for me and I'm thankful you did because if you didn't show up Kevin would have done worse so thank you " realizing his hand is on mine hearing my mother in the back ground " I'm gonna go sign you out so we can leave baby girl " nodding my head hearing Sara say " I'll go to with a smile dragging David with her watching her wink at me " rolling my eyes knowing she left to give me and Eddie some alone time but with smile to only appear on my face. I wonder if her and David are a couple or just really close I'll have to ask later. Looking back at Eddie to have him tell me " Kevin will pay and I'll make sure he ends up behind bars i promise Maria no girl deserves to be beaten "

Looking at him " Eddie thanks and I know I ended up in the hospital and all but just leave it alone for now I'll let you know if he comes back " hearing him say " ok that's understandable " .

Feeling eddies stare on me I say " am I that gorgeous " waving my hand across my face laughing " of course you are " seeing him wave his hand but only to burst out laughing " ok that was funny thanks for the laugh" looking at him smiling " your welcome gorgeous " Eddie says to me. Hearing the door open my mom has a wheel chair and Eddie picks me up gently and sits me in it. Quickly telling him " thank you " my mother says " meet us at our house and you can all watch a movie with her motherly smile. Hearing my friends say " thank you " . My mind goes to Eddie and I think I'm starting to like him but how can I like a guy so fast I didn't like Kevin that quick nor trust fast but Eddie I feel like I can trust him. Telling myself " he may be my new chance "
