Rejection Then Love

Chapter 20

Maria's POV

Making dinner for my family and I and after I make everyone's plate and setting it on the dinner table. "Dinners done" I say to everyone and they all come rushing to the table to eat."mommy I'm gonna eat like a princess" smiling at liliana "your already a princess" watching everyone eat but all I can think about is Kevin and he saw me and I saw him and he saw my daughter.

"What are you thinking about babe" Eddie says to me. Looking at him but I hear "Yea mommy what you thinking about" the twins say. " nothing mommy is thinking about how cute my little babies are" I say "mommy thank you your cute to" liliana says and I smile and Josiah says " mommy I'm not cute" sticking his tongue out at me.

Laughing I stick my tongue out back at him. Eddie stares at me knowing I'm lying about what I said I was thinking about. "Mommy who was that man who said hi to you" liliana says. Eddie looks at me and I point to the living room. " it was no one baby now hurry and eat dinner so I can read you a story" liliana smiles and eats her dinner and I get up going into the living room.

"Now tell me what's really going on" Eddie says "I saw Kevin at the store" eddies eyes go wide and then he gets angry "did he say anything to you or liliana" I look at him and sigh " Yea he said hello to me and asked liliana who she was but I picked her up and left as fast as I can" I say to him but Eddie just punches the wall "fuck" he says. I look at him and say " watch your mouth the kids are just in the kitchen" next thing I know Josiah runs out with liliana " mommy are you and daddy ok" they both say I look at Eddie then look at the twins " yes we are ok" I say and Eddie picks up Josiah and liliana " its bed time you two" and walks up stairs with them.

After about 30 min Eddie comes back down and sits on the couch next to me. "I'm sorry for getting angry its just he's out now and I wanna keep you safe and the twins safe" I hug him nodding my head "I understand and I'm not upset at you for getting mad but we don't need walls ruined" I say to him smiling a little. He kisses me and I kiss him back.

Our hands roaming around each other. "Let's make baby number 3" I look at him "boy no I'm not going through that pain again any time soon" he laughs. Hearing a knock on the door I get up to go answer it and I open it to see Sara , David , my mom , and eddies parents. I welcome everyone in and eddies surprised just as I am that everyone is here.

" oh maria I missed you so much" eddies mother says and I go to hug her smiling "I miss you to" I look over at my mom " mom I miss you so much" I say to her and she hugs me "I miss you to baby" and then I give Eddies dad a hug along with Sara and David. Eddies asks "why is everyone here" eddies mom says "don't be silly sweety I came to see my grand babies" her eyes twinkling her eyes are beautiful I think to myself. "Mom the twins are asleep" Eddie says. His mother frowns and his dad says "son we need to talk" Eddie looks at him nodding and waving his hand to go into the kitchen and David goes with.

"So did he propose yet" sara says I look at her "no he hasn't but I'm sure he will besides the kids are a handful so its ok that we wait" eddies mother says "oh honey your so beautiful and you made beautiful grand children for me and your mother" she says smiling. I couldn't help but smile. "Well those grand kids of yours are bad sometimes plus Josiah eats like his dad already and he's only 4 and then liliana is a sweet heart but very sneaky though" I say to them "well is Josiah into sports " my mom says. " oh gosh mom he does what Eddie does like Josiah is another Eddie but I love my little man to pieces" my mother laughs so does eddies mom.

Eddies POV

"Son have you to bring the babies over some time your mother won't leave me alone about it" he laughs "Yea dad no problem" david says " oh yea it's only no problem because he'll have alone time" David says wiggling his eyebrows.

"So dad why is everyone here" Eddie asks " well son Kevin is out of prison they only gave him a few years so I want you to keep Maria and the babies safe for now because he's being placed some where in this area" I look at my dad " what the fuck dad are you kidding me ?!?! " Eddie says " I'm sorry son but its the best I can do they won't let him near any schools or parks since he is a rapist and your area is what they allowed" trying to keep myself from getting mad " but dad you work with the law and place people like him away from kids and schools and parks but I have a little girl dad is there anyway he can be moved somewhere else " I look at him with pleading eyes "I'll try my best again son"

Looking down feeling frustrated and pissed I think what am I gonna do

So I decided to bring Kevin back into the story and instead of him being in prison for life like I had said in a previous chapter I changed it to him only having a few years. I wanted to have a little drama for the story to make it interesting but tell me what you all think so comment and vote -monae :)
