Chapter 16

Maria's POV

    Now being 6 months pregnant I can't go to school. I've been in the house doing online school after my mom talked to the principal 2 months ago. Being alone while Eddie is at work. He works at footlocker. And my mother being gone seeing as she went to Vegas with her friends from work. I wanted her to go and have fun since she's been here with me helping me and Eddie out and my dads death took a toll on her really bad so she deserves some fun.

   Hearing the door bell ring I get up slowly and start walking towards the door from the couch I look through the peep hole and see its Sara and David. I happily open the door and hug her I missed Sara. She hugs me back and David gives me a hug as well. "Omg ginger I missed you" she looks at me smiling with tears in her eyes "I missed you to chocolate muffin" hugging her "what's wrong don't cry" I say to her even though she cries anyway "

      " I miss you maria and your truly a friend to me and I don't wanna lose you" looking at her " Sara your my best friend and you won't lose me because your truly a friend to me also " she smiles and hugs me gently because my belly and I hug her back. David says "I miss you to maria even though we don't really talk as much" he says smiling sadly. "Awe David I miss you to" he looks at me then at my belly. Rolling my eyes" you can hug me its not gonna hurt the baby" he smiles and hugs me and I hug back.

       We've been watching movies and laughing and talking for awhile. Seeing Sara and David cuddled up all I could do was stare. I started to cry because I wanted that same thing. Sara comes to me "what's wrong" she says with a worried expression " i-i saw you and David cuddling and I want that to and I know it sounds crazy but I can't help my pregnancy emotions" Sara laughs wiping my tears " maria its ok and calm down" I do as she says and calms down.

      Hearing the door bell ring I get confused wondering who could be at the door and Eddie has my key so he wouldn't ring the door bell. I get up going to get it with Sara and David behind me I open to the door and my mouth goes dry. I see its Kevin. I get scared and wrap my hand around my belly" go away" I say to him " why I might have gotten you pregnant Maria and I'm so sorry I was an asshole and a dick to you I want you back " he steps closer and I step back " no go away " he steps in looking angry and David comes up " go away she asked you to leave so leave" he says Kevin laughs " seriously maria you got this white kid sticking up for you" Sara pulls me next to her behind David " one more time go away you fucking prick " ive never seen David this angry and I could have sworn I saw Kevin flinch but the next thing I know eddies here and as soon as he sees Kevin he flips. Seeing Eddie practiclly beat the shit out of Kevin I tried to break it up but David says " go upstairs we don't need you or the baby hurt trying to break this up" nodding my head sara goes with me.

      Sitting on my bed "Sara I'm sorry this happened tonight I didn't know he would come here" I say starting to cry. "Its ok shhh its ok just keep calm" I feel something in my stomach almost like a tumbling motion or butterflies knowing it's the baby kicking. "Ok I will"

    After about 30 min Eddie burst through the door "Why the hell is he here" he says looking angry I try to talk but I just broke down and Sara talks for me" listen don't be a dick he showed up unexpected and Maria told him to go away but he didn't listen he wanted her back but she told him to go away and then David stepped in because he stepped closer to maria so before you get pissed at her now you know the story" she says and he looks at me sad and comes to me and wipes my tears telling me to calm down and that he's sorry.

     David pops in " maria Kevin has been arrested for what he's done and for not leaving you alone when you asked and for beating you in the past that's why we took awhile to come up here " looking at David "thank you so much" I say getting up to hug him which I do and he hugs me back.

    Saying goodbye to Sara and David I go to the kitchen to make something to eat but Eddie comes in and says "baby sit down I got it" I look at him "I'm fine babe plus the babies and I are hungry for some shrimp Alfredo. He laughs " baby I love you" I snike looking into his blue eyes " I love you to" he pulls up my shirt getting on his knees " and I love you guys to he says kissing my belly" feeling the babies kick he smiles and stands back up kissing my forehead " go shower and dinner will be ready when your done"

    Going upstairs I go shower and wash every inch of my body and my hair. Getting out I go and grab and towel and dry off and get dressed in a huge t shirt and my panties. Going back down stairs I see my plate is ready and I go and eat it . Eddie laughed at me for a sec because I rushed to so fast to eat but hey I'm hungry and so are these babies. After we eat Eddie carries me up the stairs and lays me down on the bed and kisses me. I kiss him back feeling his chest and he puts his hands on my lower back. After our make out session I decide to fall asleep after a long night and Eddie does to but not before saying he loved me and the babies and that immediately puts a smile on my face while I drift off to sleep.

  Omg Kevin came back thinking he was gonna get Maria back but thanks to David he was sent to jail which is great and Eddie works at footlocker which is good because Maria just might want some baby shoes from there ahaha so there is a reason why I updated so early and that is because today is my party for my birthday so I hope you all enjoy this chapter please comment and vote - monae
