I inhaled slowly, trying to ignore the smell of blood and sweat emitting from Jason. Lifting my head I faced sheer embarrassment.

He tilted his head and with a smirk he wispered "hey".

I smiled sheepishly, "Hi..."

I looked back down and realized I was kneeling on the floor in front of Jason.

'Well, this must look bad...' I thought as I lifted myself up and onto the bench. Jason winced a little in pain and I scanned his body for injury.

His face glimmered with dirty sweat; the corner of his lip matte with dry blood. My eyes trailed down and I noticed nothing wrong with his torso and legs, but then again he had been slammed into the mat a couple of times. He probably had a broken bone or two.

I heard a snicker and I quickly lifted my eyes to see Jason's teasing steely blue eyes.

"Like what you see?", his mouth formed a lopsided smile.

I grimmaced, "No."

He looked shocked for a second but quickly regained his composure, "Really now?"

I could tell the curiosity in his voice, but I couldn't tell him.

I couldn't tell him I hated seeing him fight... that I didn't like him in pain.

He would get irritated at me, and It's not like he'd listen to my pleas anyways. We're not that close.

Not yet anyways.

I flipped my hair and with a sigh I glanced around the room, "Did you wanna get out of here?"

He got up and held out a hand towards me. I placed my hand in his and he led us out of the crowd.

I looked back. Seems like I'll be missing Alexa's fight.

We went down the same maze of passageways and arrived at his car. He unlocked it and we both got in.

Buckling up, he put the key in the ignition and we drove off.

"Your place?" I questioned.

"Yeah, I'm kind of hurting over here" He motioned to his torso and lip.

I smirked, "Really? I didn't notice?"

He smirked as well, catching my sarcastic drift, "Hey, I'm that good."

I rolled my eyes, "Wow. Don't you have an ego."

With a raspy laugh, he parked in front of his apartment building.

I swiftly got out and skipped to his door. I smiled as I could hear him chuckling as he slowly followed behind.

He finally got to the door and fished out a key.

"In a hurry to get in there, huh?" He glanced up, smirking. His eyes glistened in humor.

My mouth tugged into a smile, "Maybe"

Kissing my cheek, he turned the key and opened the door.

The room was pretty much the same as the last time I was there except for a few magazines and dirty clothes laying around. I made my way to the sink and wet a towel like before.
