Oh no.

My so called "friends" I guess you could call it. Stacy, Abby, Demi and Lana. They're all here. In Sydney, Australia. They look the same. Long straight be on hair or blonde, fake nails, and their perfect acne free tan skin. And of course how could I forget their short skirts, booty shorts and crop tops?

So they were my friends In middle school and high school but they told everyone lies, and my secrets. They told everyone about my depression, how I self harm, and wanted to die. The lies were about how I wasn't a virgin (which I am) how I'm a slut. And all these lies. Which made people I want to hate me even more. As you could tell I haven't been exactly great with people at school.

I'm so nervous I hope they don't see me. I don't want them to intrude my date with Luke. They will ruin everything and make Luke hate me. They made people hate me so no doubt they'll make him hate me.

I'll hate myself too.

"Are you okay Carmen?" He says waving a hand in front of my face. I'm guessing I zoned out. "You look nervous. Don't worry cutie I'll hold you tight on the rides." He says winking at me. I nod hoping I convinced him. I'm kinda confident Cause here I am on a date with a hot dude who's way out of my league and is holding my hand. While those fake hoes all by themselves.

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm a little scared by the rides." I whisper to him. So they won't hear me.

We walk past them and hopefully didn't notice me. I look back and see my ex boyfriend Ryan with one of them. It doesn't really surprise me. He cheated on me with her anyways. I was a game to him.

Luke and I go on our first ride. 'The Crazy Dance'. We stand in line for about ten minutes waiting to go on the ride. The line finally shortens and we go on.

"Carmen don't be scared I'll be with you." Luke says squeezing my hand as we sit and buckle up. But only if he knew I'm scared on my old "friends".

The ride starts and let me tell you, I wish I never got on. Our seats are moving around in circles and every time it moves down I feel like I'm going to fall off. I scream all the cuss words I know. Im probably getting rude looks from partners. But yolo!

When we get off I can barely stand. I need to hold onto Luke from support but he's no good since he's laughing at me.

"Wow Carmen remind me to never bring you to a carnival again. or take you to any adult rides."

"Excuse me Lucas I was trying to scare you. Me being a brave and confident lady I was not scared." I say in a horrible Australian accent. He rolls his eyes at me. "Lucas that's rude! You should never roll your eyes! You know what fuck you." He pulls me close to his chest. I pretend to be mad and get out of his grip but c'mon you can't even pretend to be mad at Luke when he's holding you tight to his chest. And when your lips centimeters apart from each other.

"You do it all the time." He whispers in my ear. He looks at me in the eyes and I can feel him reading me, looking into my past. He slowly leans in to kiss me but before he does someone of course ruins it.

"Oh look it's Carmen. Hi Carmen! How are you?" Lana says coming over to me with the others behind her. She looks at Luke then at me then back at Luke. "Oh who's he? Hi I'm lana. I'm one of Carmen's besties!" She twirls her hair and makes sure he boobs are in sight. Oh and I'm the slut. (Note my sarcasm)

"Oh hi. I'm um Luke. It's nice to meet you. Carmen never talked about her past." Luke says sounding uncomfortable. He moves closer to me putting his arm around my waist. I smirk at Lana letting her know he's mine.

"Oh Carmen you have a boyfriend. Aww how cute! Do you remember Zayn? Your ex? Well he's now dating Stacy. You know it's a shame y'all broke up. But then again he cheated on you." Her words bring back memories of how painful it was to know he only used me to get with Stacy.

"Well you know Lana everything. Worked out. See I'm here on a date with Luke. So yeah. What are y'all doing here?"

"Oh we are just having a vacation you know since it's winter break. I'm enjoying the life of Asia!"

"But this is Australia not Asia." I replay in a 'duh' time. Dumbass.

"Oh. I got confused. You know they look alike and wow it's really hard to tell apart." Like I said dumbass.

When they finally left Luke and I alone we went to the Farris wheel. We waited in line and paid. When we got on our seats I couldn't help but admire the beautiful view. It was as beautiful and lovely I could look at it 24/7 and never get bored of looking at it.

"It's beautiful like you." I heard Luke mutter to me. I felt myself blush at his words. He was sitting across from me and I turned to look at his amazing ocean blue eyes. We stayed looking into each others eyes until we saw that we were at the top.

Luke took my hands into his. he looked at my eyes then at my lips, my lips then my eyes. He finally leaned in. Our lips moved in sync. His lips were sweet and tasted like strawberries. I could feel the elephants coming into my stomach and just running around.

We pulled away to catch our breaths and I look around us and we're at the bottom of the Farris wheel.

I am currently sitting in my bed wearing my SpongeBob pajamas.

Luke dropped me off from our date about an hour ago and let me tell you something it was amazing. I loved it. My "friends" didn't bother us after our little conversation. And Luke won me a stuffed animal. And at the end of the date he kissed me in front of my door step. I mean yeah that was cliché but it was cute.

I felt my phone vibrate with a new message from Luke.

Lukey : hey pumpkin I had a great time at the dance.

Me: duh why woudnt you have an awesome time with me?

Lukey: idk your you.

Me: and you're you.

Luke: I'm a 9 and you're the 1 I need.

Me: wtf I'm a 10

Lukey: I'm trying I be romantic here! So let me be!

Me: but I'm a 10 and you're like a -92939

Lukey: wow what a way to boost my confidence.

Me: ikr im so good & nice. You should be thankful you have a gf like me.

Lukey: you're my gf now?

Me: I mean... I thought that... Ugh idk.

Lukey: we'll talk about it tomorrow I'm coming over anyway to hang out with Calum. Bye

I shut my phone off hoping that maybe I'll be something more than a friend to Lucas Robert Hemmings.
