I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.
"Oh no please let nothing be there." Someone whispers. I walk towards the person, It's Zach.
"It's ok, it's just me." I whisper.
"It's ok you'll be ok it's all in your head." He must not have heard me.
I move the curtain he jumps and looks at me. His hair is messed up, his eyes are bloodshot and he looks terrified.
"What's wrong?" I ask hugging the boy.
"I'm scared." He says putting his face in my shoulder.
"There's nothing to be afraid of."
"But there is."
I let go of him and grab my bear and hand it to him.
"Are you sure?" he looks at me with his giant beautiful eyes not believing what's happening.
"Yes, nothing can get to you now it will protect you. We will all protect you. It's ok you should sleep. " I play with his hair and he falls asleep. Once he does I go back to my bed and sleep.
In the morning I leave to go shop at Target because I wanted to. The boys are doing something today I don't really know. I should get all the boys onesies. Wow I'm a genius. I look through what they have and pick out some. I bump into someone.
"Oh I'm sorry." I say. I see I bumped into a guy who works here. He looks at what I'm holding then back at me then back at what's in my hands. "Oh don't look so judgemental." we laugh.
"I'm not judging you, I'm just questioning what you're buying." He says.
"Well Mr. Judgie I am buying them for some friends."
"Sure sure whatever you want to say to cover up what you're really doing."
"You know this one would look good on you." I push a bear onesie to his chest then walk away.
"I'll see you soon onesie." He calls after me laughing. I get some snacks then I go for check out.
"Can Ms. Onesie come to the help desk." Someone says on the loudspeaker.
I look down and blush. This is so embarrassing. I grab my bags and go to the help desk. Judgie is leaning on the counter when I walk in. He's got that bad boy vibe. He smirks at me as I walk up.
"Was that all necessary?" I ask, still looking down.
"Yes it was." He says, he lifts my chin and I look at him. Ugh he's trouble. "You dropped this earlier." He hands me my phone.
"Thank you." I say. "Wow look at the time I gotta go." I start to leave.
"Wow you're always walking away from me."
"Whatever, Judgie."
"Bye Onesie."
I walk back to the bus and put my bags away. I have to keep my snacks away from the others. Even though I ate a lot of them on the trip here.
"Where are the others?" I ask Eben.
"They're getting food there supposed to be in dance rehearsal soon." Eben says.
"Ok I'm gonna go with them."
"Haha you never can resist a dance studio."
He's right I love dancing. I remember dancing with Daniel. That was fun. I go to the studio and no one is here. Hmm they must still be getting food. I play some music on the speakers and start dancing. I was really into it. I didn't notice the door opening. When the song ended I heard clapping. I whip around to see the Why Don't We boys and a girl.
"That was really good!" They said.
"I didn't hear you guys come in, I'm sorry." I say embarrassed.
"You're really good and if the boys want I think you should dance with them." the lady says. I'm pretty sure she's the choreographer. I give the boys puppy dog eyes. They all look at each other. They often communicate with their eyes to each other.
"Of course you can join us on stage." Jonah says.
"Yes!" I'm so excited I hug him. "Alright let's start."
She taught us a dance to Hooked which is a new song they wrote. It was really fun and I love dancing with them. I'm going to join them on stage at the next concert. My dreams are coming true.
