"By the way what's your name?" I ask as we walk down the sidewalk.
"Ed," he says.
"Interesting name. I'm Amorette."
"That's an interesting name."
"Okay we need to get your girl back. I have a three step plan. First we have to fix you up."
"What's-" He tries to ask what's wrong with how he looks.
"Shhh don't even ask." The only helpful store that is open at this time is Walmart. We walk around in the clothing aisle and I pull different pieces. "Do you have any talents?"
"Singing," he says.
"That's perfect." I hand him the clothes and he goes and tries them on. He has a nice blue button up shirt and black pants. There were some other outfits but they didn't fit or look the best. "What is she like?"
"She's amazing and beautiful. I could talk about her for hours."
"Oh you are so in love." I grab some flowers and some chocolate. We go and pay for the stuff while he tells me more about her.
"Is this all?" He asks, unbelieving that this will work.
"No now is the hard part." I say. "You said you're a singer, are you a good one?"
"Yes I'm actually sorta a celebrity."
"Ok in that case can you sign something for me so I can sell it later." I ask and he laughs.
"I'm Ed Sheeran."
"Oh I've heard of you, you have some really good music. Can I take a picture with you? I bet my brother that I would meet a celebrity before him."
"Sure." We take a picture then keep walking.
"You're not going to fangirl out? or something?" He asks and we stop walking.
"Of course not, I hate to break it to you but you're a person just like everyone else." I say and start walking again.
"But you wanted my picture." He smirks like he has It all figured out.
"Because of a bet."
"Ya sure."
"What am I?" I ask him making us stop again. I look deep into his eyes and wait for a response.
"A girl?"
"less specifically."
"A human."
"Yes! And what are you?"
"A human."
"Exactly." I say and we walk again. "Do you have a song you can sing for her?"
"Well I have a song i've been working on-"
"Perfect." I cut him off.
"But it's not done."
"Does it sound good?"
"Yes."
"Is it romantic?"
"Yes."
"Is it about her?"
"Yes."
"Do you have more then two lines?"
"Yes."
"Then it will work perfectly. As long as it's from the heart and sounds good any girl will fall for you."
"We've been talking all about me this whole time."
"You're a celebratory isn't that all you do." I poke fun at him.
"Haha funny." He says pausing. "What about you? What are you running to?"
"Home."
"Home is where your heart is. Why do you want to go to where your heart isn't, to a house?"
"Well I just think they will do better without me. I mean so many people told me so."
"Don't listen to what others say. They're wrong. Is your heart with them?"
I look back at my memory's and most of my best ones are with them. I was going to go back home, to the house but the house would feel so empty without Eben. And i'll miss the boy band.
"Your right I have to go back! Before the house movies!" I take off running then I turn back to him. I yell backwards. "You're going to do amazing! We will meet again someday! Go get your girl!" He laughed and waved goodbye. I taught him well, he will do good. And who knows maybe we will mean again.
I run beside the sunrise and the only thought in my head is Bertha is my home. I'm going home.
