Mature things ahead

We had another show. They killed it and I danced. It was amazing as always. Tonight we get to stay in a hotel room because in the morning there going onto Good Morning America and they need a nice place to get ready. I get a room to myself. The others have to share rooms. I go to sleep it's late.

I wake up in the middle of the night and I can't get back to sleep. It looks nice outside. I grab my phone, wallet, and put on my hoodie and sneak out the door.

It's dark outside and a little scary. But I keep walking. I want to clear my head. Pretty soon I find myself in a sketchy area. I walk faster trying to get back.

"Hey!" Someone calls out. I walk faster and they yell again.

"We were talking to you." A guy says jumping out in front of me, stopping me from going anywhere. Oh I'm in trouble. I frantically look for a way out but I don't see a way. Fight or flight. I punch the man in front of me and I try to run. But two guys behind me grab me and hold me. "Oh you're going to pay for that." He punches me twice in the gut. I double over in pain. they drag me into the alleyway.

"No!" I scream repeatedly "Help!" I thrash against them trying to get away but they dig their fingers into my arms.

"You talk to much." The man says and he punches me in the face. He grabs my chin and roughly forces me to look at him. He opens his mouth to talk again but before he does I hear someone yell.

"Hey!" someone yells from across the street. "Is there a problem here?" the person steps forward now I can see her. She has her arms crossed and looks strong. The guys let me go and I fall to the ground. Tears are streaming down my face but I don't make a sound.

"We don't want no problem." The man says.

"Good, then go." They run off and the woman squats down in front of me. "hey hun it's ok."

I slowly look up to her.

"Thank you." I meekly say.

"I think I need to get you home.'' She half carries me i'm still shaken up. We talk and she's really nice.

"Wait." I say stopping us in front of the hotel complex. "I can't let them see the bruises they will kill me." Tears are still streaming down my face but there's less of them now.

"Ok it's going to be ok i'm going to help you hun." She says. We go into a gas station and get some makeup. "Don't worry about what happened tonight. I'll go talk to the cops in the morning for you. Unless you want to?" I shake my head. "Give me your number?" I give her my number. "I'll call you some time to tell you what happens." I nod "Your going to be ok." It wasn't as bad as it could have been and I'm thankful for that. "Now go home and get some rest."

I nod again. We walk to the hotel, I slowly stand and stop leaning on her. My arms shake as I slowly walk. I get to my room door and look back and she's gone. My guardian angel. I open the door and go in. I fall down on the bed.
