Suddenly the room feels small, as I look at this fawn who clearly isn't happy about what's going on.

"It's the white witches fault!" He cry's almost like he's pleading with us to believe him. "She's the one who makes it always winter and always cold, she told us that if we ever found a human then we had to turn them in and take them to her." He says sadly.

"But that doesn't mean you have to listen to her." I say feeling sad for the poor man.

"I thought you were our friend." Lucy says and then it's like something sparks inside Mr Tumnus's eyes.

"I am your friend." He says and then stands up.

Taking hold of our hands he pulls us through the woods back the way we came, looking around I notice how dark it's gotten. How long have we been here in Narnia?

"We have to be careful, the woods are full of her spy's." He tells us as we run through the snow. "Even some of the trees are on her side."

As we run I can't help but keep my senses heightened, everything now seems like it could be a threat to us. Soon however we make it back to the lamppost.

"Can you find your way back from here?' He says to us looking around.

"Yes, I remember where to go." I say looking back through the trees.

"Good, I'm so..." He says and then begins to cry.

Lucy passes him her hankie, he uses it to wipe his tears from his eyes..

"Don't worry about us, we'll be ok." I say to him giving him a hug.

"What ever happens, I am so very glad to have met you both. Lucy, Elizabeth thank you. You've made me feel warmer than I have in a hundred years." He says and goes to give Lucy her hankie back.

"Keep it, you need it more than I do." Lucy says with a smile.

"Thank you both, now go!" He instructs us.

Taking Lucy's hand in mine we make our way through the trees into the back of the wardrobe, stumbling out Lucy runs towards the door. Calling for her I run after her, as she yells to the others that we're back and we're ok. Edmund however pokes his head from behind the same curtain he was hiding in when we left.

"Shut up he's coming!" He says to us before Peter comes walking through the door.

"I don't think the two of you have quite got the hang of this game." He says to us.

"Peter don't mess with us, we've been gone for hours." I say folding my arms across my chest.

"What are you talking about?" He asks as Susan comes into the room.

"Does this mean I win?" She asks.

"I don't think that Lucy and Lizzie want to play anymore." Peter says.

"We were playing, but then stuff happened..." I say as Peter looks at me confused. "Don't give me that look, follow me."

Grabbing his wrist I pull him towards the room holding the wardrobe, taking a deep breath I pull it open expecting to feel the cold of Narnia but instead I feel nothing. With Peter, Susan and Edmund looking at us confused, I explain everything to them, from the snow to Mr Tumnus, to having to run away from there. Each of them look at the wardrobe, knocking it and looking through it.

"The only wood inside there is the back of the wardrobe." Peter says looking at us.

"We're not lying, or dreaming." I say to him.

"Lizzie, right. We wouldn't lie about this, why don't you believe us." Lucy says, tears filling her eyes.

"Well I believe you both." Edmund says. "Didn't I tell you about the football field in the bathroom cupboard?"
