The wolves descend onto the ice surrounding us, some behind and some in front. One wolf snarls at Mr Beaver so he gets down on all fours and nickers back at him, but the wolf jumps forward pinning Mr Beaver down.

"No!" Mrs beaver cries.

Peter then as if on instinct pulls out his sword and holds it out to the wolf, warning him not to come closer.

"Put that down boy, someone could get hurt." The wolf who I'm guessing is Maugrim, says stepping slowly closer to us.

"Don't mind me! Run him through" Mr Beaver yells at Peter.

The wolf keeps making his way forward to us, causing us to step back.

"If you leave, then your brother leaves with you." He says looking at the four of us especially.

"Look Peter! Maybe we should just listen to him!" Susan yells.

The wolf chuckles and smirks. "Smart girl."

"Don't listen to him! Kill him! Kill him now!"  Mr Beaver yells again as the wolf bites down harder.

"Oh come on, this isn't your war. All my queen wants is for you to take your family and go." Maugrim says continuing to step closer.

"Look Peter just because some man in a red coat hands you a sword, it doesn't make you a hero!" Susan yells at him.

I feel Lucy hold onto my hand tighter, looking at her I try to focus but all I can feel is the ice beginning to crack under my feet.

"Peter! Narnia needs you! Gut him while you still have a chance!" Mr Beaver yells at him.

"What's it going to be Son of Adam, I won't wait forever. And neither will the river." Maugrim says lowering him self as if to pounce.

Looking up I notice the waterfall is beginning to burst.

"Peter!" I yell at him.

He turns to face me and then looks up at the cracking ice, then it's almost like a lightbulb goes off in his mind. Looking at us he yells loudly.

"Hold onto me!" He cries and then points his sword down slamming it into the ice.

Rushing close to him I pull Lucy close and grip onto Peter's arm while Susan holds onto the other, the ice finally bursts with an almighty bang. The wolves back off can get caught as the ice from the falls drops down shattering the thick ice we're standing on, a huge wave of water rushes over us pulling us down into the depths of the water. Holding tightly onto both Lucy and Peter we soon break the surface of the water, coughing I continue to hold a tight grip as we ride the block of ice down the river. However as a wave crashes into us I feel Lucy slip from my grasp, watching her slide into the water I let go of Peter and dive in after her. Opening my eyes wide I focus on her and swim towards her, using the current to propel me forward. Grabbing hold of her I try to fight against the current to push her towards the bank, once we're close I push her forward.

"Thanks Lizzie." She says coughing.

I try to climb out but a strong pull of the current pulls me back into the water, I hear Lucy call my name but then I'm too focused on fighting against the current. My head keeps popping up so each time it does I try to take a deep gulp of air, but I'm struggling. The water is freezing and I can feel my limbs going stiff with cold, my eyes begin to close as I go down deep into the water. But then suddenly I hear a splash and someone wraps their arms around me, then before I can even understand what's happening to me I'm on dry land coughing up water, someone drapes a blanket over me and I look up to see a dark skinned centaur looking at me with concern.
