The next day was warm and sunny, dressing for the warm weather I pull on a light blue dress with grey cardigan and stockings. Tying my hair with a blue ribbon we make our way outside to enjoy the sunshine, Peter and Edmund set up a cricket stand while I sit with Lucy who's still upset about last night. Especially since Edmund hasn't spoken or looked our way since last night, my guess is he's still annoyed about the whole situation.

"It was real, right Lizzie?" Lucy asks me.

"Don't let Edmund get in your head Lucy, he was there too. He's just embarrassed by the fact that we caught him, if we hadn't seen him then maybe his lie would have worked." I say wrapping an arm around Lucy. "Next time we go we should wear some warmer clothes, especially since it's always winter there."

Lucy's about to say something else when we hear glass smashing and a crash coming from inside the house, looking over to the others who are almost frozen we follow them inside the house to see a fallen suit of armour and the cricket ball surrounded by glass.

"Oh well done Ed." Peter says ready to yell at him.

"You bowled it!" Edmund retaliates.

We soon hear footsteps and the angry voice of Mrs Macready, panicking we begin to run through the house and actually end up in the room with the wardrobe. Edmund runs forward and pulls the door open, reluctant to get in Susan and Peter climb inside followed by me and Lucy. Closing the door slightly we make our way deeper into the wardrobe, stepping on each other and getting caught in the coats. But then Susan and Peter fall backwards, into freshly fallen snow. Both of them pause and then look behind them, all of us step out into Narnia as Peter and Susan look around in awe.

"Impossible." Susan says looking around.

"Oh don't worry, its most likely your imagination." I say looking at them with a smirk.

"I don't suppose saying sorry, will be enough?" Peter asked.

"Hm, what do you think Lucy?" I ask her with a mischievous smile.

"No it wont." She says and then tosses a snowball at Peter while I toss one at Susan. "But this might!"

We then break into a snowball fight with each other, but Susan ended up hitting Edmund who cried out in pain.

"Stop it!" He cried, and then looked down at the ground.

"You little liar." Peter says looking at him. "Apologise to them both now."

"You didn't believe them either!" Edmund retaliates.

"Say your sorry." Peter demands.

"Fine! I'm sorry." He says giving us both a side glance.

"That's alright, most little children just don't know when to stop pretending." Lucy says folding her arms over her chest.

Edmund muttered under his breath as he turns away from us.

"Maybe we should head back." Susan says rubbing her arms to warm her self up.

"We can at least look around." Edmund says gesturing to the woods around him.

"I think Lucy and Lizzie should decide." Peter says looking at the both of us.

Turning to Lucy I smile. "How about Mr Tumnus, think he has room for all of us?"

"I think so." Lucy says with a smile. "Let's all go and see Mr Tumnus."

"But we can't go through the woods, dressed like this!" Susan says shivering.

Peter then goes inside the wardrobe and pulls out an armful of fur coats, taking a grey one from him we begin to make our way through the woods of Narnia. All the while Lucy and I explaining everything, well everything that Mr Tumnus has told us. Peter then walks over to me and wraps an arm around my shoulder, he then leans in and whispers sorry into my ear before running and rolling down a hill of snow. Smiling I make a snowball and toss it into his face, causing him to laugh. Since we came to live with the professor we've drifted apart, and I have to admit it was lonely. I mean he's my twin, how can I not want to be close to him? Now that he knows everything that I know about Narnia, it makes us closer. As we get closer Lucy begins to talk about some of the treats that we might have, and how excited Mr Tumnus will be when he sees us. But when we finally reach his door, we all pause and stare.

The door has been broken down, and it looks like a fight happened. Without thinking I run forward with Lucy following close behind me, once inside I take everything in. Mr Tumnus's home has been completely turned upside down, broken cups, books cluttered on the floor, even the picture of his father has been torn to shreds. Looking down however I notice the flute that Mr Tumnus played when we first met him, kneeling down I pick it up. Feeling the smooth wood in my hand I slip it into my pocket, standing up I look over and see Peter pulling a note from the wall.

"By order of her Majesty the faun Tumnus is hereby charged with High Treason, against her majesty Jadis, Queen of Narnia. For comforting with her enemies and fraternising with humans, signed Maugrim, captain of the Secret Police. Long Live the Queen." He reads out.

Putting a hand over my mouth I try to focus.

"Now we really must go." Susan says pleading with Peter.

"We can't leave, especially since we're the reason he's been caught. Lucy and I are the humans, somehow he must have found out about us." I say hearing a 'pssst' noise.

Looking outside I hear a bird whistle and then 'pssst' us again, taking a step outside the others follow me and look around. After a minute or two a beaver comes making it's way over to us, Peter pushes me behind him and holds his hand out to the beaver. Clicking his tongue he try's to get close to it, however the beaver startles us all.

"I ain't gonna smell it if that's what you think!" The beaver says causing Lucy and I to laugh, something tells me that everything is possible in Narnia. "Lucy and Elizabeth Pevensie?" He asks.

"That's us." I say pulling Lucy forward, the beaver then holds out a white hankie which is all to familiar.

"Thats's the one I gave to.." Lucy starts taking it in her hands.

"Tumnus, he gave it to me not long before he was arrested." The beaver says sadly.

"Can you tell us what happened to him?" I ask.

"Further in." The beaver says and begins to make his way deeper into the woods.

Lucy takes my hand and we begin to follow him but Susan grabs me, stopping me in my tracks.

"We shouldn't be following him." She says to me.

"He said he knows Mr Tumnus." I say simply.

"He's a beaver, he shouldn't be saying anything!" Susan pleads with me, I can tell she's scared. But right now a friend is in trouble, and we need to help him.

"Everything alright?" The beaver asks us.

"No, we were just talking." Peter says looking at Susan.

"That's best left for safer quarters." He says to us and waits for us to follow him.

As we continue to walk the night begins to creep in on us, looking up at the stars however it makes me feel more calm. As we keep walking Mr Beaver continues to speak with us a little, he seems more comfortable with me and Lucy since Mr Tumnus knows us. After a couple of minutes we reach what looks like a dam, Mr Beaver perks up as he sees smoke rising from a makeshift chimney.

"Blimey looks like the old girl's got the kettle on." He says with a smile.

"How lovely!" Lucy exclaims looking at the dam.

"It's not much, still has a lot of work to do. But it's warm." He says and leads us down to the dam, where another beaver comes out.

"Beaver is that you? I've been worried sick! If I find that you've been with badger again..." She starts and then stops to look at us. "Oh, now those aren't badgers, I never thought I would live to see this day!" She exclaims and then begins to smooth down her fur. "Look at my fur, you couldn't have given me ten minutes warning?"

"I would have given you a week if I thought it would have helped." Mr Beaver says causing us all to laugh.

She then leads us inside to the warm dam, taking our coats off we put them onto a bed and take seats around a table. Mrs beaver gives each of us a cup of tea and then begins to make some food, Edmund then comes in followed by Mr Beaver and we settle down for a quiet evening of story telling and much much more.
