I woke up the next morning to Jimmy talking.

"Who the hell is that?" He asked, looking out of the window. I looked out the window and saw a new caravan pulling up to the show.

"Oh god," I groaned, pulling the curtain closed and getting dressed. I opened the curtains again and walked outside. Two people were walking into Elsa's tent. I looked on the caravan to see "Dell Toledo: Strong Man". I sighed and walked over to Ma Petite, who was doing her nails.

"Hey girl," I said with a smile.

"Hello Melanie," she said, smiling back.

"Lemme see," I said, looking at her nails.

"So pretty!" I exclaimed.

Her eyes lit up. "I like the color," she said.

"Me too," I giggled. She laughed too.

"Who's here?" Ethel asked, coming up to me in a hurry.

"Dell something. I don't remember? Why do you look so flushed?" I asked, standing up and meeting her.

"Damn it," she said bitterly.

"What's wrong, darling?" I asked.

"I... I used to know him. Guy is an asshole," she said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Unfortunately," she began, looking around. She looked hesitant. "If I tell you something, you gotta promise not to tell anyone. Especially Jimmy," she said.

I gasped. "Father?" I asked. She nodded. "Say no more. It'll never leave my lips," I said.

"Thank you," she said. I hugged her.

"Well I gotta go talk to Jimmy, so I'll see you later," I said, rubbing her shoulder. She nodded and scurried off. I turned to Ma Petite.

"I'll see you later, okay?" I asked. She nodded and looked back to her nails.

I walked around to find Jimmy. As I was doing so, I saw Dandy storming out of the main tent. Out of curiosity, I followed him. He got into his car and started hitting his head against the steering wheel.

"I hate you, I hate you, I hate you!" He kept screaming.

I didn't know whether or not to ask him why the hell he's doing that. I decided not to. I walked into the main tent and saw Jimmy on the stage.

"Hey!" I called out. He smiled and jumped down.

"Hey! You'll never believe what just happened," he said, chuckling a little.

"Did it involve Dandy Mott?" I asked.

"Yeah. How'd you know?" He asked.

"I saw him walking out of here. I followed him to his car and he fucking slammed his head on the steering wheel until he bled!" I exclaimed.

"Seriously?" He asked, laughing. I nodded. "He came in here and said he wanted to be part of the show. Wanted to be a freak. I told him no and sent him home," he explained.

"Jesus. Why do rich people always want to join the circus?" I asked.

"I don't know, but I told him that he should be grateful for all that he has. His family, his house, his money, his hands," he said.

"Yeah. He's got more money in his pocket that I have ever had in my entire life," I said.

"Same here. Now. The new lady Desiree and Elsa are holding a rehearsal for the twins. You don't need to go if you don't want to," he said.
