"Shit. What are we gonna do?" I asked.

"I don't know. They won't let us in to talk to him," Eve explained.

"Well fuck. What are we supposed to do now?" I asked.

"I- I don't know," She stuttered.

Then I remembered Dandy's words. How the police helped him cover up a murder.

"I think Dandy framed Jimmy," I said.

"What?" She questioned.

"Well he said the police helped cover up his murders," I explained.

"You're right. But who are we gonna go to? All of the cops are useless and now the town folk are all against us again," she said.

"We will figure it out, okay?" I asked.

"Yeah," she said, grabbing my hand.

We walked until we saw the tents. We heard yelling from Elsa's tent. We rushed over and I gasped at the sight. Pepper was standing over Salty, who was laying on a bed with his eyes shut. He was dead.

"No, no, no, no, no!" Pepper kept yelling.

Tears fell from my eyes. With all the crying I've been doing, I can't believe I still have tears left.

Eve sniffled and rubbed her eyes in grief.

"Pepper. You need to leave his body so we can bury him," Elsa said, coming into the room. She was polishing glasses like nothing had happened.

I stood up and faced her. "Why don't you give her a goddamn minute? She just lost the love of her life, what do you expect her to do, Elsa?"

"The body has been sitting for four hours. He's starting to smell," Elsa replied.

"Have some decency! That's one of your own you're talking about!" I exclaimed.

"I've already shed my tears, Melanie. I cried for an hour straight," she said.

"An hour? You showed emotion for an hour? I find that very hard to believe," I spat.

She slapped me across the face. I held it in pain.

"Elsa!" Eve exclaimed. Pepper was crying harder now.

"What? You want one too? Now both of you leave Pepper and I alone. NOW!" She yelled.

I walked to Pepper and kissed her forehead. Then I stormed out, flipping Elsa off as I walked. Eve followed.

"God that bitch! I can't handle it anymore," I said, wiping tears from my face.

"It's okay honey. She's just insensitive. She can get over these deaths. We can't," she said.

"I'm so sick of this. I'm losing everyone I love. Meep, Ethel, Ma Petite, Salty and now Jimmy. I can't keep doing this. I just can't. Who's gonna stop me next time I-" I began. I stopped myself.

"Next time you what?" Eve asked sternly.

"I-I tried to kill myself the other night but Jimmy stopped me. I know I should've told you but I thought you'd be mad," I explained, letting out a few sobs.

"Oh honey," Eve said, giving me a hug.

I sat there and cried for awhile and then Eve made me some tea.

"I'm not mad. And I'll never be mad when you admit something like that to me," she said.

"Okay," I answered, sipping the tea.
