I woke up at the end of Jimmy's bed. He wasn't there anymore. I slowly got up and stretched. I haven't slept well since I started sleeping there. It isn't comfortable. But I would do it everyday for Jimmy.

I slowly got dressed in new clothes and walked outside. Everyone was rushing into the main tent.

"What's going on now?" I thought to myself.

I jogged over to the tent and walked inside. A giant lady was sitting in a chair over a giant feast. Jimmy was sitting on the stage and watching her.

"Everyone! This is our new member. Her stage name is Ima Wiggles. She is new, so treat her with kindness and respect!" Elsa exclaimed as Ima started eating.

I walked over to Jimmy and sat next to him.

"She's... amazing," Jimmy said, taking a swig out of a bottle.

"Jimmy. Stop drinking," I demanded, trying to take the bottle away from him.

He ripped it away from my reach and drank the rest of it. Then he tossed the bottle to the side and walked up to Ima.

I sighed and walked to Ima as well.

Before Jimmy could say anything, I chimed in. "Hi. My name is Melanie," I said to her.

"Hi," she said with a smile.

"If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be happy to help in any way," I said with a smile.

"Thanks," she said.

I nodded and walked away. I could hear Jimmy talking to her as I left.

In a hurry, I walked straight into somebody. I got knocked off of my feet by their body.

"Oh I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to-" I began before seeing who it was. "Dandy? Hi! What are you doing here?" I asked.

His eyes and face lit up. "Melanie! It's always a pleasure. I was getting a reading from Ms. Esmerelda on my free time. I was just leaving," he explained.

"Oh. I'm sorry to keep you," I said.

"No, no! You're not keeping me from anything. In fact, I've been meaning to talk to you about our rain check for dinner," he said with a smile.

I gave a soft smile. Oh no. "Oh right," I responded shortly.

"I'd love to have dinner tonight if that works for you," he said.

I thought for a moment. With all the bad things I've heard about him, and all the bad things I've seen him do, do I really wanna do this? I really don't want to go, but I feel bad turning him down. I bet he gets no company.

"Sure. That works great," I said.

"Beautiful. I'll pick you up at eight," he said.

"Thank you. Goodbye," I said.

He kissed my hand. "Goodbye," he said and walked away.

I looked around and saw Desiree talking to a man. Curiously, I walked over to her. Maggie was there too. Hatred filled Maggie's eyes as she saw me. I stood next to her.

"I know you hate me. And you know I hate you. But let's put this aside. We've got much bigger things to worry about," I whispered.

She scoffed. "Like what?" She asked.

"Hm. I don't know. Maybe the many deaths of our performers!" I said.

She sighed. "Alright. Just don't hit me again," she said.
