A knock at my door woke me up. I got up and opened it. It was Maggie.
"Hi?" I said.
"I want you to come with me. I don't know Elsa that well," she said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
She looked around and lowered her voice. "Desiree and I went back and got Ma Petite. We have to show Elsa," she explained.
"Oh God. Why didn't you get me?" I asked.
"You looked busy with that guy that saw our show," she said.
"Fair enough," I responded.
"Now come on. I don't wanna waste any more time," she said.
"Me either. Let's go," I said.
When we got to the tent, Elsa was sitting in one of the chairs, smoking a cigarette.
"What do you two want? I've wasted ten minutes sitting here," she barked.
Maggie and I looked at each other and froze. I opened my mouth to say something.
"We have to show you something. And we don't really know how to do it," Maggie said.
"And it's p-p-p-" I said, tears welling up in my eyes. I started remembering her body. She was alone when she died. Nobody was there besides her and her murderer.
"What is going on?" Elsa asked with freight in her voice.
Maggie walked over to Ma Petite's exhibit and pulled the sheet off. Elsa gasped and started crying.
"Oh!" She gasped. "Oh my God, who did this?" She asked, touching the glass.
"Stanley. He's been posing as an agent for Hollywood when really he's been killing us. He didn't kill Ma, but he sold her body," Maggie explained.
"That evil bastard!" She screamed as she sunk to her knees.
I wiped the tears from my face and walked to Elsa. I patted her back and hugged her close.
"What are we gonna do about this?" I asked.
"First we are going to show everybody. Then we're going to kill him. No. We are going to make him suffer, but keep him living," Elsa said.
Maggie and I nodded in agreement.
"You said Stanley didn't kill Ma Petite. Who did?" Elsa asked.
"Dell," Maggie answered.
I wasn't surprised.
"Stanley blackmailed him into doing it," Maggie explained.
"Is Dell here now?" Elsa asked.
Maggie nodded.
"Take me to him," Elsa demanded, getting up on her feet.
I helped her up and noticed that her sock fell down a little. To my absolute shock, she had a wooden leg. I held back a gasp because this was definitely not the time. She walked to her room and picked up an object. She put it into her pocket.
We walked to Dell's trailer and Elsa pulled a gun out of her pocket.
"Woah," I whispered.
"I keep it on me," she responded.
I nodded and watched as she silently crept inside. Elsa stopped when she saw Dell on his knees. Desiree was holding a gun to him.
"I want to hear you say it," Desiree said.
