We all somberly walked out to the back field. I'm so sick of coming here. I'm so sick of burying people. Ethel's body was in a wooden casket and we placed it in the hole. All I could hear was sniffles and cries. People took turns talking about Ethel. I couldn't even listen to Jimmy's speech. I had to turn away and cover my ears. Eve rubbed my back. Then it was my turn. I stepped to the front of the casket and placed my hand on it.

"When I lost my mom, I never expected to gain one. Ethel was the shoulder I cried on, the ear that would listen, and the person who reassured me that my skin made me beautiful. I don't know what I'm gonna do without her-" My voice broke as I let out a sob. "She is the light of my life. She always will be. So I love you Ethel. I can't wait to see you again."

I let out another sob and stood next to the twins. Bette held my hand. I gave her a small smile. A couple more people spoke and then we had to do the hardest part. We all took shovels and buried her. I'm surprised that I could see through all the tears. Then Jimmy, Paul, Pepper, Salty, Dell, Maggie, Bette, and Dot all left.

"I am sick of this. I'm sick of all these things happening," Desiree said.

"We all are," I responded through tears.

"This cant keep happening. We're dropping fast," Suzi said.

"We have to get rid of the people who are threats," Desiree said.

"Yeah. Starting with who?" I asked, wiping tears.

"My daddy. He did this to me," Penny said, pointing at her face. "I told him I was coming to live here. With Paul. And he got really angry and-" she paused. "And then this happened."

"Well we cant just let him do that, right?" Eve asked.

"Of course not. Let's make him pay. Ethel would've wanted it. Let's do it for Ethel," Desiree said and picked up a rock.

"For Ethel," we all repeated.

We threw the rocks on top of the casket.

Desiree looked at all of us. "Let's go," she said.

We all nodded and walked out of the show.

At Penny's House.

"My window is always open. I leave it open for Paul," Penny whispered.

"Alright. Lift me up," Suzi said to Eve, who lifted her through the window.

"Don't come in until I see where he is," Suzi said. She left our sight for a minute and then came back. "He's in the living room. Sleeping," she said.

We all took turns getting in, but then Eve hit her head.

"Ow," she cried out.

"Who's there?!" He yelled out.

"Shit. You guys hide," I said and stood in the center of the room.

He bursted through the door with a shotgun in hand. I put my hands in the air.

"Who in the hell are you?" He asked me. He raised his gun to me.

I saw Desiree sneak behind him and smiled. "Your worst nightmare," I responded.

He gave a confused look before Desiree whacked him with a vase. Everyone came out as the glass shattered.

We, without a word, tied his legs and arms together and then Eve threw him over her shoulder. Then we carried him back to the show.
