Jimmy, Desiree, and I looked through our storage to find something to use on Dandy. We thought about using the sawing box, but we felt like that was too quick. Then we stumbled upon a large box. It was taller than all of us and had a chain attached to the bottom.
"The old water trick," Desiree said under her breath.
"What?" I asked her.
"It's when you're placed inside the box and you tie your ankle to the bottom. Then, someone fills the tank up with water and you must escape before you drown. It's a magic trick," she explained.
"It's perfect," Jimmy whispered.
We wheeled it to the front of the stage and let it rest there. Then we grabbed the keys to Stanley's car and hopped in. The time was 6:00. Only thirty more minutes to go.
When we arrived at the manor, Bette and Dot let us in through an open window.
"Oh my gosh," I said hugging them both. We all took turns hugging.
"What's going on?" Dot asked.
"What did he do?" Bette asked, tears streaming down her face.
Desiree, Jimmy and I looked at each other.
"What is it?" Dot asked sternly.
"He um... he killed everyone. We're the only three left," I said, tears falling down my face.
Bette and Dot gasped as they sobbed.
"We knew he was doing something horrible but we didn't know-" Bette sobbed out.
"Shhh. It's okay," Jimmy said, wiping tears from his eyes.
"Oh God," Dot whimpered.
We had a group hug and then we broke apart.
"How are we going to do this?" Desiree asked.
"Dandy is out getting us perfume at the moment. The butler is preparing dinner right now. You can put something in his drink," Dot said.
"Who's the butler?" I asked.
"Melanie?" I heard someone call out.
I turned to look. It was Peter. I gasped and ran to hug him.
"Oh my gosh I was so worried," I whispered.
"I'm sorry I couldn't get to you. That psycho kidnapped me and chained me down. He only lets me in the kitchen to make him meals," He explained.
"Well we're about to save you. Take us to the food," I said.
Desiree, Jimmy and I followed Peter into the kitchen just in time for Dandy to come home. Peter showed me the drinks and I put the same drugs he used on me into his drink. We hid in the kitchen and prayed that Dandy would fall for Bette and Dot's act.
"I am so excited to start my new life with you two. It's going to be amazing," Dandy said.
"I've never been more in love," Bette said as they sat down at the table.
"Dot. It is so kind of you to let your sister be with the man she loves. I'm forever grateful," Dandy said.
"As long as my sister is happy, I'm happy," Dot said.
"Where are our drinks?" Dandy said loudly, hinting to Peter to bring them out.
Peter grabbed the tray of drinks and handed them out to the three of them.
