Sierra was sitting in between Bobby and John, while they were being the subjects of a interrogation, almost.
As if the two boys who wanted a light from John's lighter were being like the police who were constantly around in the city.
It had been nearly 5 years, since Sierra had been brought to the School for the Gifted and she had enjoyed the time, almost all of it, that she spent there.
The only thing that she would never get used to, was how stubborn Bobby and John could be, in their own ways.
But now, instead of just their normal trio of elemental manipulators, there was a fourth member at the table who didn't really have a great mutation.
Rogue sat with them now, a relatively new addition to the school as well and it was rather irritating for Sierra, now to have another girl in the group.
"My brother asked you a simple question." The one with flattened hair says as Sierra smiled at John, who was flicking his lighter open and closed.
"Why are you being such a dick?" The one with curly hair asked and then an echo of it came from the other one.
"Because I can." John says, as the lighter flicked shut once again and he looked at Sierra, who smirks at the small flame that she had on the tip of her finger now.
She extinguished it and then she looked at the two boys, who were still standing there, apparently not getting the hint.
"Can I have a light?" The curly haired one asks, his tone impatient as hell, as John looked at Sierra.
"What do you think? Should I let him have a light babe?" He asked and then Sierra raised her eyebrow at the guy a shrug was her answer.
"Your choice Johnny." She says, leaning on his arm, as he flicks open the lighter again, and the flame flicks into view once again.
"Hmm..." John hummed under his breath, and then he shut the lighter quick.
"Sorry, can't help you out, pal." He says, and then began to laugh, as so did Sierra. She snickered rather loudly at the identical looks on the brothers' faces.
"Knock it off, John." Rogue says from across the table, as John continued to laugh.
"Why don't you stop showing off?" A quiet voice known as Bobby Drake in the conversation, it suddenly was into the topic.
"What, oh, for her? I can't help it if your girlfriend's getting excited. Just like mine is." John says, and Sierra's head shakes slightly, but she was still smiling slightly.
"I don't think she's getting excited, and neither is Si, although she acts like she is, hell if I know why." Bobby says.
"Whoa there buster, don't you bring me into this." Sierra said, glancing at Bobby immediately, as her eyes would flare up like fire.
"Don't get shook up. We're trying to have a good time here, all right?" John asked, trying to defuse the situation in his own hot-tempered and short fused way of doing so.
"I think you're the only one having a good time." Bobby was saying, when a intrusive hand suddenly grabs John's lighter straight out of his hand.
"Hey!" John says immediately and both him and Sierra stood up, and the other brother, the one with flat hair, had gotten in the way of the pair.
"Move." Sierra said coldly, knowing exactly what John was ready to do in order to get the lighter back.
"That's real cute, man." John said, looking past the flat head to look at the one who was lighting a cigarette now.
"What are you going to do?" The one who was blocking them asked, as then a brief tremor went through the floor.
"Give him back his lighter, you assholes." Sierra says, and the two boys laughed, as one blew smoke into John's face.
"Looks like your girl has more words in her smart mouth then you do ever, pretty boy. You're not seriously gonna just keep hanging out around with the fire guy over here are you?" The curly haired asked.
"Mind your own business, and give me the damn lighter." Sierra said, and then she felt a hand grip her shoulder, and it was the other brother.
She looked around quickly at John, and saw the fury in his eyes, not only did he lose his lighter, they were in a bind.
"Suddenly, you're not so tough." The brother said, and then John winks at the one smoking, and his clothes were suddenly burning.
Sierra twisted precisely, promptly, and quickly, to send the other brother flying to land on his butt, right next to the one on fire, and she also grabs the lighter from the ground.
John snickers and Sierra lowered her gaze to the one on fire, as she held out her hand towards him as well, helpin' Bobby extinguish the flames.
Suddenly, everything froze inside the museum.
"Bobby, what did you do?" Rogue asks her boyfriend, as Sierra shakes a hand at her.
"I didn't do this." Bobby insists.
"Professor X did this." Sierra murmurs, as John poked the other brother in the face without problem and she flicked open his lighter. "Try not to lose this again John." She says as he caught it from her toss, and put it in his pocket.
"Thanks baby." He murmurs, hugging her gently, as Professor Xavier wheels himself into the food court.
"No, I did." Professor Xavier says pointedly to them, and now all of the other students were behind him. "And the next time you feel like showing off to your friends... don't." He said, as his gaze and words were pointed at John.
"Breaking news. We are now coming live from Washington, where there's been an attack in the Oval Office of the White House."
"Details are still coming in, but we have been informed that both their President and Vice President, were not harmed. Sources say the attack involved one or more mutants."
The TV continued to drone on in the background, as Scott looks at the bald Professor. "I think it's time to leave, Professor." He says.
"I think you're right." Professor Xavier says and the museum went all back to normal after they had gone.
