Sierra was out in the garden on her own as she needed to be concentrated completely, in order to do, what she had been trying to perfect for weeks.

She reached out a hand, and was pressing it onto the ground, as she shut her eyes, feeling all the power, of all of the growing life, underneath the soil.

She brought her hand up and when she went to bring it down, the clicking of a open lighter broke her out of the state needed to do what she had been trying.

"Johnny!" She groaned under her breath at him, and he shuts the lighter quickly, with an apologetic look on his face that was reserved for her usually.

"Sorry. I really am, this time. I know how hard you have been working on this whole thing." He said, putting the lighter away, as he sat next to her and looked at the dirt.

"I forgive you, Johnny. I always do and I always will. But back there, at the museum... I can't just be using my powers in public to clean up after you so please. Please try to control it." She whispers and he looked at her, and he pressed a kiss to her forehead.

"I'll do my best." He said and squeezed her hand in his quickly, and then he smiled. "Right." He said, and a second later he was pulling something out of his pocket.

Sierra raised her eyebrows quickly at him and he shook his head at her. "I'm gonna have to ask you to shut eyes." A second later, Sierra did as he asks and played along for his sake. "Now open."

He murmured in her ear and Sierra opened her eyes, and saw that he had put a necklace around her neck.

"Don't tell me that you stole this Johnny." Was the first thing that came to her mind, then out of her mouth as well, causing John to laugh.

"No, this time I didn't have to steal it from anyone. I brought this from my place when I left. Thought that I had a right spot, maybe I'd sell it." He said as Sierra throws her arms around him in a tight hug.

"Oof." He says and she kissed his cheek, and hugged him again, as he smiled at her.

"Thanks Johnny. It's beautiful... it really is." She said and he looked at her, and shakes his head.

"It's still nothing compared to you, and you make it look better when you are the one wearing it." He said, and a snort came from her.

"That didn't make any sense, but that is why I love you --Pyro." She said and a smile brightened up his face and she flicked her fingers causing flames and sparks by her will alone.

John sighed, as he scoops the flames off of her hand and catching himself wishing once again, that he could be a fire creator, not just manipulate it.

Sierra gently tapped him on the cheek, bringing him back to reality as he looked at her.

"Don't you do that. I know that look on you Allerdyce. You do not wear it well." She said, and he looked at her.

"You were born to be different Johnny, just like all of us were. I had faith that I would find where I belong and I did." She murmured.

"Right here with you and the rest. I was born to be here with all of you, and I mean everyone." She took his hand, and gave it a squeeze.

"Johnny, you may not be able to create fire, but I can. You use it, when I create it." She says again, as he leans over to hug her.

"Come on, let's go inside. I'm done for the day anyways." She said and he lets out a small grunt, when he did finally realized that she had managed to take his lighter.

She pressed it back into his hand as they walked into the school and found Rogue in the entryway, hugging Logan while Bobby looks almost jealous.

"I'm glad it's you, I have." John murmured to her, as she punches him playfully in the shoulder, as they walk away from the trio of clearly very uncomfortable individuals.

Sierra was lying in her bedroom, and it was one, which was, coincidentally, directly between John's and Bobby's.

"You were worthless! You should never have been born!"
"You didn't deserve to survive while our parents died!"
"You are nothing but just a stupid little girl who has both parent and anger issues."
"You are in love with a dumb ass, pyromaniac mutant? You might as well be already digging a grave for yourself!"

Sierra woke up with a gasping scream, choking on her own pain and cries of it. She pulled on a hoodie, and she walked out into the hallway, and a minute later, she was in John's room.

"Hey." He murmured sleepily, and then when she looked at him her eyes were still red rimmed, from a brief panic attack. "Come here."

He reached out, and she lay next to him, as he wraps his arms around her gently, and she snuggled in close, next to him. "I'm sorry." She whispered and he looks at her, and she twists around, to face him. "I woke you up." She says.

"I don't care." He kissed her gently, before she leaned her head to rest on his chest, as she attempted to fall back into sleep.

"If you got into trouble, I would do anything, everything to get you out of it. You know that right?" Sierra says quietly.

"I know that you would. Because, I would do the same for you. For you, I would." John mumbled in her ear and they both smiled slightly.
