"Run!" A huge wave of fire was coming towards them and Sierra narrowed her eyes.
"Bobby!" Rogue was screaming as the wave of fire came down toward them and the school.
Sierra reached out a hand, it was shaking as it moved towards the fire, then the fire came.
It was like a trained puppy, as it was moving around her like it always had, like it was a part of her body. She was in a state of almost serenity and it was like the fire was consuming her.
"Stay back." Professor X warned the younger students as they all seemed to be fascinated with the fire.
With a whoosh, suddenly the fire went out completely, as if it had been absorbed by something, or someone.
Sierra stood completely unharmed in the middle of the big circle, of a burnt patch of grass.
The children began to cheer for her but she just shook her head and walks towards the forest.
Once Sierra had gotten far enough into the forest, she grabbed onto the nearest tree and began to climb up.
She felt the branches around her as if they were moving to cradle her as she kept climbing up higher.
Then she stopped, when she heard footsteps on the ground below, as the vibrations rang out, telling her that a person was in the forest with her.
"You know that it was him. Trying to get your attention no doubt." Charles was in the forest somewhere and she sighed.
"He loves you, as you love him. I have never seen him bond with anyone, like he had bonded with you. He loves you."
Sierra had tears running down her cheeks now, as there had been for the weeks since Alkali Lake, and she had tracks that seem to be now burnt into her face.
"Stay out of my head Professor. I don't need you to remind me of him especially since I see him, in every place I look and every place I go."
Sierra's thoughts were harsh, as she heard a familiar lighter flicking open and closed.
"Go to him. I sense that you can find him yourself, Element." Charles' voice was gone, as Sierra climbed down out of the tree and followed the sounds of the lighter.
"I'm surprised that Magneto allowed you to come back here. Even if it was to scare the younger kids into joining, the "Brotherhood" of Mutants." She said as her fingertips spark with fire.
"I'm his right hand man. Other then Mystique." John stood in the shadows and she shakes her head. "You want to know why I came back, why I insisted to be the one who did so." He said.
"Good guess Johnny." She spat his name out like an insult now, causing him to clearly flinch. "But then again, you did know me well. Too well, most people here, would argue." She said.
"I missed you. I didn't miss anyone else, not Bobby, especially not Rogue as magnificent as her power is quoted Magneto... I came back for you. In the hopes, that you may come with me. In joining the Brotherhood." He said and she looked down again.
"Don't ever come back here, John Allerdyce. Don't you ever come back here again." She said quietly, and her voice was shaking and trembling, but she was fighting so hard, so hard to keep it steady, really hard to keep it steady.
"I get how it is. You want me gone, out of your life for good. For your sake." It was quiet, but the pain was still there.
"Johnny... I don't want you gone for my sake. In fact I don't want you gone at all. But I cannot support Magneto's cause and I'm sorry. I really am. But I can't support it, which means unless I can convince you to come back..." She left the words hanging in the air as he moves around behind her, as now she stood stock still, eyes flashing.
"You should leave here now, John Allerdyce. Before, either of you do things you may regret." Sierra's eyes blazed as Xavier's voice cut through the very much personal conversation.
"He's been listening in this entire time?!" John's eyes were blazing with fury and pain, as he lit up the lighters, he held in his hands and Sierra shakes her head.
"No, he wasn't. John I swear..." But, she didn't even bother finishing the sentence at the look in his eyes, that stared dead into hers.
It was two pits of pain and fury fueled fire and she lowers her head at pain it was fueling her as well and yet he still walked away leaving only the smell of smoke and burning plants behind into his wake.
Sierra looked at the burnt grass and instead of helping it grow back, it was beginning to die at her mood.
"Sierra, my dear I truly am sorry. If I had known the way he would react to my intrusion..." Charles began.
"You should have known better already! You trained him, taught him, I was the only one who knew him any better! Yet you pushed a button that it was only entrusted to me to push! He.. he's never gonna trust me again."
She whispered and everyone's mouths were open wide and even Scott had stuck his head out of his personal isolation chamber known only as his room in formality.
"Preach about anonymity, but you keep pushing more of us towards the Brotherhood, who are just about the total opposite of anonymous."
She says quietly, as tears began to fall once again, streaming down her face, as she walks toward her room, and a second later, she slammed the door in a hard slam behind her.
