Sierra was still running, unable to get the loud shoutin' of Cyclops out of her mind, as she continued to run, the bag over her shoulder.
She stopped outside of a restaurant, after running for as long as she could without completely collapsing.
She walked into the restaurant, and found it surprisingly empty, especially for this time in the mornin', where the business usually boomed.
Sierra looks in silence at the person behind the counter, and she walks up to the counter quietly.
"What can I get you?" The waitress asked, as she wiped down the nearest glass, that had been left from another customer who has come in earlier.
"Just a bottle of water and a burger please." Sierra said and the waitress nodded.
The waitress went into the back of the restaurant to tell the cook and when a customer came in as well, she went to greet him like she would anyone else.
"Hello sir, what can I get for..." Her sentence trails off, and then suddenly she was thrown into a wall.
Sierra spun around quickly, still holding the unopened bottle of water, and saw that standing there was a huge beast of a man, who had claws coming out from his fingers and now his fangs were coming out as well.
"Don't you know better then to walk around on your own around here, little girl?"
He asked, his fangs baring sharply, as he growled. Sierra unscrewed the cap, and the water began to rise all over.
"So, you use all sorts of liquid and water as weapons. Guess, Magneto thinks that it is a very useful talent to possess. Too bad he said not to be a bother, and hurt you."
He charges quickly towards her, and then on impulse, she looks over at the waitress, who was still very much so, unconscious on the floor.
Sierra's water surrounded her, and as the beastly man charged, she thrust at him with one hand and the water was thrown towards him.
She clenched her hand, and the water froze into ice, and the wooden floor of the restaurant became slippery with a lot of ice.
Then, she looked up quickly to see the same guy from earlier on his own and running to the restaurant.
"I was gonna see if you needed some help. Save you if absolutely necessary with our Professor X's permission."
He said to her, and she looks at him with a slight nod, lowering her hands quickly, from their offensive 'attack is coming' position.
"The Professor didn't tell us your name. Only what your powers had manifested as. Well, what he could see anyways." Scott said, as he flew the plane with the one, that they all were calling Storm.
"My name is Sierra Storm. You guys can call me... I guess whatever. All of my siblings called me Rebel, but that's just a nickname that happened to be a nickname that stuck to me."
Sierra says quietly, and she felt upset to even be speaking about her parents or her siblings or home life in general.
"Well don't worry. You will be safe where we're headed. You don't have to worry about any of that anymore."
The red head woman said and Sierra's eyes blazed with fire, and without her knowing, she had fire all around her a flickering mess of flames surrounding her, as if she was a part of them.
"Stay out of my head." She snaps instinctively, and the woman nodded quickly.
"I'm Jean. Jean Grey. Telepath and telekinetic." She says and Sierra nods at her.
"No kidding." Sierra muttered as she looked at herself, and then the fire, it was gone as soon as it had appeared.
"You're not alone." Scott says, as they parked the plane, back inside the area under the basketball court.
Sierra looked around at the grounds of the school, and then when they had finally made it inside she heard voices everywhere.
"We'll take you to see the Professor now. Before everyone has a chance to realize, that there is a new student the entire school does not in fact, already all know about." Scott said.
Sierra caught sight of two boys, as they walked towards the Professor's office. Storm had left them to teach a class, as had Jean, so it was just Scott who was walking with Sierra.
"Those are the resident element mutants that we have right now at the school," Scott takes a deep breath before continuing. "John Allerdyce, he likes to be known and go by the name of Pyro when possible. He can control manipulate a fire or flames, but can't make his own. Not like you."
Scott looks to the other boy, as Sierra momentarily watched Pyro, as he was flicking open a lighter, that was not at all unlike her own.
"Bobby Drake, likes to be known as Iceman. He has cryokinetic abilities to make ice." Scott says.
"Not unlike what I did to... that thing back there. That beast who came after me." Sierra says, as they continued to walk past the boys.
When she felt their eyes on her, watching her suspiciously, as if she wasn't to be trusted, she stops for a second.
Scott raised his eyebrows at her, and she turned to face the two boys, and a second later, they stood up to face her quickly.
"If you take a picture, it will last longer then the camera will." She says and fire began to spark up quick from her left hand, as John's eyebrows both shot up at once.
Her right hand extended out and a bunch of water appeared, and then it promptly froze, without Bobby doing a thing to it. Bobby's eyes widened.
"Find somewhere else to look."
She says, and then she was quickly tossing the ice ball to Bobby, and John simply reached out his hand, and then the fire came to him out of her hand a bit like an obedient puppy.
"Who are you?" John asked as she turned to walk away with Scott once again to go to the Professor.
"I'm a Mutant. Mutant like you." She said, and he smirked as she walks off with Scott again.
