The next day I still felt that Mike didn't tell me everything about him. I still feel that he isn't like Nick. I decided to get dressed and wait for my friends to pick me up for school. When they finally arrived, they both looked at each other.
"So, what happened with Mike?" Anthony said.
"Are u guys finally dating?" Anne said.
"No guys, nothing happened,we just watched the stars." I said.
"OK, well we both ship u guys but he always makes out with the Mean girls." Ashley said.
In that moment I started feeling like a knife stepped my chest.
"What? Is he dating both of them?" I said.
"No, they just make out as friends." Ashley said.
"I hope." I said. I wasn't believing that he actually kisses the mean girls. When I entered my classroom he was talking with Ian and when he saw me he smiled.
I just decided to seat in my desk, I closed my eyes and I started thinking about my parents. They would know what I had to do, I miss them so much.
"What is wrong with u?" I could recognize that voice everywhere, my drug, my everything,my sky.
"What?" I said.
"What is wrong with you?" Mike said.
"Nothing, what's wrong?" I said
"Why u didn't say hi to me before?"
"Why do u make out with the Mean girls?" I said. Right after I said it I was regretting it.
"Fuck u Faith." He said and then he left. I couldn't handle it. A few hours ago we were watching the stars and now he just left. I was wrong. He was like Nick. Everyone in this class is like him. I was wrong about everything. I decided to get out of this class.
" Are u okay Faith?" Caleb said.
"Yeah, I just need to take some air. See u guys later." I said.
I decided to go to the bathroom. I looked at me in the mirror. I'm nothing. I'm no one.I need someone by my side. I decided to wash my face. I couldn't handle the tears and in that moment my worst nightmare came true. The mean girls.
" What is wrong with u?" Paige said.
"Leave me alone."
"No, u aren't going anywhere. If u try to say something about us again u're fucked!" Sophie said.
"OK, I'm sorry but I have to go."
"Go, new girl." Dawn said.
I decided to go to the backyard to take some air but when I arrived there was him. He was smoking a cigarette and drinking alcohol at the same time. I decided to seat next to him. For a few moments there was just an awkward silence between us until I heard his voice again.
"For that u weren't talking with me this morning?" He said.
"Maybe, I'm sorry."
"Can u please leave me alone. U seem like a dog that wants to follow me everywhere."He said.
" Fine, Sinclair. If that is what u want. I was right about u.U are just like him." I said.
" Hey, what do u mean? Hey, wait List what do u mean? Faith? Fuck me."
I could barely listen to him, the only thing that I cared about was escaping from that nightmare.
