Chapter 17- The Truth

After everything that happened I couldn't even face him anymore. I was running in an empty hole, I was alone.
"Faith, wait!" I heard his voice miles away from me. I was running away from him until I felt his hand on my wrist.
"Wait Faith, u don't know what happened." His voice was deep.
"I just know that u are a liar, u moron." I answered with anger in my tone.
"If u're feeling like this I can understand just listen to me." He said.
"What do u want?" I said.
"I'm gonna tell u everything from the beginning.

It all happened when I was 11,my dad always came back home drunk until a day he started beating my mom, every day it was a nightmare for her until a day he came back home more drunk than the usual and that night he beat her so hard that he killed her. I tried to do something but it was too late and he took a glass and he threw it at my eyebrow. I just remember that I passed out and when I woke up I was in the hospital and my dad was in jail. That night he destroyed my family.

For that I treat everyone like crap and I just care about myself and the mean girls were at my place because in a few days is going to be my mom's anniversary. "I couldn't believe in that, I tried not to cry but the tears started floating down my cheeks.
" Hey, don't cry Faith, everything is fine and I want to tell u that I'm sorry, I hope that u could forgive me. "He said with hope in his tone.
" Of course I forgive u Dummy. "I decided to hug him so tight that I started hearing his heartbeat going faster and faster.
" Hey, I'm gonna take u home it's very late. "He said.
" And what about the mean girls?"I said.
" They are fine at my place, c'mon let's go. "He said.
We decided to take his car, I wanted to take his hand in mine, the weather was cold and the wind passed through my hair.
Just a few minutes later we were in front of my apartment. A lot of stuff happened this past few days but now I'm finally feeling better.
"Goodnight Faith and do u want to go to the cemetery with me. U could meet my mom."
"I will love to meet her and goodnight Mike. See u tomorrow."
"See u tomorrow Faith."
When I entered my bedroom I started feeling goosebumps all over my body. He was a drug for me, he was my planet. We were like two different planets, always close but never together.
