The Hufflepuff Princess

"Draco!"

The day after Cedric kissed me, I was on cloud 9. I felt so much better about Hogwarts then I did before. That morning I got dressed, did my hair, and grabbed my bag. I rushed out of the common room and out of the portrait. I was walking down the spiral staircase when I saw Draco Malfoy. I stood up confident and kept walking. "Hey Y/n!" He said. "Check this out!" Draco said. Draco ran after me with his two minions and teased me about my leg. "There's a scar!" Draco said laughing.

I ran away from the horrible boys. "I hate them!" I said as I passed a corner. Then, Severus Snape showed up! "Excuse me?" He said firmly. "Who do you hate?" I was so shocked. Do I really talk that loud? "I hate Draco Malfoy!" I said. "How about you keep your nose out of his business!" He said to me. I gave Snape a dirty look and walked through the halls. I could hear the boys laughing from a far distance. Great I thought, just great! My morning has turned out horrible!

After lunch was potions. I hated potions, it was horrible! I was sitting next to Seamus, (who blew up everything!). Snape wanted to torture me, in every way possible. Snape got up and asked me a question. "Y/n do you know what the poly juice potion does?" I looked my Professor in the eyes and said "Yes, yes I do" Snape dirty looking then said "that's surprising that you even know something, Princess" No one ever called me Princess besides people who greet me. I hated being caked that, it was like saying I'm petty.

After potions we all could just relax in are common rooms and stay there for eternity. I got dressed in just a hoodie and a pair of shorts. I was so tired. I was sitting near my bed and saw the pink music box my mother had given me. "I should play it just in case" I thought. I turned the knob near the bottom of the box. It started to play the sweet message again. "See Y/n" I thought. "Nothing bad is going to happen" Yeah right, I was wrong! The music box started to play creepy music. It sounded like something was creeping up beside me.

The music was stuck in my head. It felt like I was going mad. The music wouldn't stop! I then closed the box to stop the tune but the music did not want to slow down. I grabbed the music box and stuck in a drawer. Still the music didn't stop. I screamed as loud as I could. Draco Malfoy entered the room. "What's going on?" He said with fury. "Draco!" I shouted with shock. I took a deep breath. I explained everything to Draco. We were both sitting on bed now. He looked a little creeped out after my story. "You know something" Draco began to say. "What?" I asked him. "I like you" said Draco.
