A scream tore down the hallway, the expensive paintings jolting on the walls at the intensity. Soft patters followed by heavier, louder ones thundered through the house, a shrill squeal harmonising the sound. Little Sang was running for her life. Sweat dripped down her back, the few tendrils of hair escaping her clasp stuck to her forehead. The polished makeup she'd applied earlier in the night was sticky on her rosy cheeks. Terror gripped her as she desperately tried to look for anywhere to hide. Anywhere that he wouldn't find her.

Spotting a heavily hung piece of cloth, Sang gripped her heavy ballgown dress tightly as she raced to conceal her petite figure behind a semblance of protection. Deeming the material a safe escape, she took a deep breath, attempting to control the fear and desperation running through her body. The sound of footsteps approaching the room caused Sang to widen her eyes and chew her lip slightly in anticipation.

"I'm going to find you, little girl." A deep masculine voice called out tauntingly, "And you're not going to like what happens when I do."

Sang was terrified.

Owen Blackbourne approached the room he knew his little girl was currently hiding in. Opening the door loudly and making his footsteps heavier, he couldn't help but taunt her a little. Instantly spotting her conspicuous figure behind his curtains, he melted at the little feet sticking out the bottom, the pink nail polish she'd begged him to paint a mess on her nails. He had always been awful at art, though that hadn't deterred her in the slightest. She loved everything about him. It was times like that he wished he'd introduced his team to her. Though he wanted to keep her to himself just a little longer.

Silencing his breathing and movement, he waited for Little Sang to lose her short patience and risk a peek behind the curtains. With bated breath she did. Squealing loudly and slightly manically, she rushed from behind her safe place in the little princess dress and smeared red lipstick she'd put on herself because she was a 'big girl'. She wasn't saying that when she begged for a bedtime story last night.

Racing forward quicker than she could comprehend, he grabbed her by the waist and threw her up in the air, catching her as her shrieks pierced his ears. "Found you! Now you're all mine!" He exclaimed, pretending to do an evil laugh.

"No! Daddy!" She tried to scream through her abundant giggles. "Stop!" His fingers dug into her sides and he kissed all over her face, tickling her insides. She loved it when he got like this. He wasn't usually.

Owen stopped his torturous devices and looked down lovingly at the girl between his arms. He couldn't believe it had been a year. He'd met Sang when he was on an Academy mission alone for the first time in years. It was a simple job at the train station but required someone with his refined skill and appearance. Whilst posing as a businessman, though he hardly had to dress up for that, he noticed a small bundle of blond hair and wet cheeks sat on a bench alone. The heavy backpack and day-old clothes were telling signs for Owen. He couldn't just leave such a delicate thing there. It was late at night, and after getting the necessary information from an inside source, he approached the small girl. He didn't think he'd fall as fast as he did.

He tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear and wiped a smudge of lipstick off her cheek. "You're such a good girl." The whispered praise caused Sang's face to light up, as it always did when her Daddy gave her any attention, but especially when he recognised her brilliance.

Nodding her head slightly, she grasped onto the sides of his head and rubbed her nose against his bigger one. "I know." She sassed, laughing loudly when Owen scoffed lightly and squeezed her sides from his place resting between her thighs.

"Right." Owen started to stand, dragging Sang to her feet at the same time, despite her protests. "That's enough of that, I think, silly girl. Time for bed."

Sang gasped dramatically and rested her chin against his chest, though she hardly reached it. Letting her full weight lean against his side she whined. "But Daddy." Looking up into his steel grey eyes she grew annoyed again at how much taller he was. It wasn't fair he got the tall Daddy height and she was stuck with stubby little girl legs. "Don't wanna."

Clearing his throat and raising his eyebrows he gave her the look he gave his team when he wanted them to stop arguing or to listen. Sang liked to call it the 'Daddy Look'. He was okay with that. "Are you allowed to talk to Daddy like that, little girl?" He grabbed her chin in his hand and squeezed slightly, not enough to hurt, but enough so she would know who was in charge here.

Shaking her head slightly she contemplated arguing but she couldn't really afford another spanking. She'd already had two today and she'd hardly gotten any sleep last night from certain ministrations. Sighing heavily and deciding to give up she raised her arms to allow her Daddy to pick her up and wound her legs around his waist when he did.

Giving her bum little pats that she denied she liked but secretly adored, he shushed her lightly and smiled at her nuzzling on his neck. He'd grown used to carrying her around as soon as they'd started dating; such a small thing wasn't difficult to hold. He knew Gabriel was slightly suspicious when he'd gained some muscle mass, but he'd been able to escape the vigorous interrogating form his loudest brother before he could question him too much.

Soft snores alerted him to the current state of his darling before he could reprimand her for bratty behaviour for the thousandth time that day. She was a handful, but he'd never loved anyone more. Not even his brothers. Though he had to admit that perhaps it was time she met them. For the better of the team.
