I could barely remember last night. I remember playing spin-the-bottle. I remember kissing Danny.
Danny must remember kissing me, too, because when I woke up, I had a text from him.
Look, I know this is soon. You and I haven't even gone on a date. But that kiss last night...that meant something. I know it meant something to you and to me. I want you to be my girlfriend. Seriously. Yay or nay?
I read his message aloud a few times just to make sure it was real. I couldn't believe my crush was asking me to be his girlfriend. But if I say yes, what if this ruins our friendship?
I quickly responded to Danny with my answer.
