temptation | kylo ren.

chapter two.

"what do we do about the ordeal? and how do they know so much?" ben questioned the second he stepped into the bedroom and you were cleaning up the mattress.

"i don't know, ben. but they must have existed before we destroyed the first order and were some sort of backup plan." you responded, rolling your eyes and groaned, finishing up. you turned around and crossed your arms over your chest, thinking.

"if they were a backup plan, then i would've been aware of it, so would have snoke, or hux!" he was starting to get furious and you raised a brow, scoffing. "are you forgetting that hux practically backstabbed you multiple times and was an awful general? he probably planned it with snoke when he wanted to kill you." you told him and sat on the edge of the bed, him hovering over you now.

"if that is the truth, how would i not know about it?" he asked and you sighed, placing your hands on his arms, looking up at him. "they probably planned it when starkiller base was ruined and you were spending time with me. but i'm surprised they aren't force sensitive." you replied and shrugged, trying to think of a correct answer.

"i think they are, just didn't want to say anything yet. and her lightsaber.. how did she manage to have an exact replica of mine? that lightsaber belongs to me." he took a few steps back, punching the wall and you didn't react. this was a normal thing to see him release his anger.

"i'm telling you, the first order planned something behind your back. i wouldn't be surprised, they always doubted you." you reminded him and his fists clenched, grabbing his lightsaber. his old outburst technique.

you immediately grabbed it from his hand and put it to the side. "ben, you're not doing that. that's what kylo ren did, remember? you're not kylo ren anymore. he was a mask and forever dead." you said and he was still anger, breathing heavily.

"if i have to become kylo ren again to take down the ordeal, then i will. i'll even rebuild the first order." he last told you, before stomping out of the room and the hatch door closed behind him. you took in what he said and didn't know if he meant. he knew how bad the first order was and how kylo ren treated people. he knew that he wasn't kylo ren.

was evil filling him again?

you decided to go to rey's quarters and get advice from her. when you walked in, she wasn't there, and her teaching time was over, so she must've been outside, thinking. you made your way outside and found her in the forest, being correct. "rey. i need help." you said and her eyes snapped open, the floating rocks around her dropping while she did to.

"what's going on?" she asked and you sighed, you two sitting on the ground next to each other. "ben just told me he would become kylo ren again and rebuild the first order if that meant the ordeal would be ruined." you started off and her eyes widen, listening in carefully. "i'm worried that what he said, might be true. i don't know if the evil left his body and mind, especially since he spent years being brutal and cold hearted. i don't know what to do, and i'm glad i'm still fulfilled with light to continue to help him."

her eyes said something else. her body had a different language. she knew something, and you could tell she was going to say something. "when the ordeal came down, i had a sense of something. bad, very bad. evil and wicked. i lost you in the moment when your mind suddenly became dark and malicious. the dark side is still in you." she said and you swallowed thickly, biting your lip nervously.

"what about ben?"

"i can't tell just quite yet. for now, he is safe, but the ordeal might have a wrongful impact on him and who he is. they might even take him hostage and use him for his gift, to turn against the risen."

that made your heart clench. that ben might be used again, for what gift he had. that he might be manipulated and brainwashed, again. "what should we do? the ordeal is most likely going to come back and put up a war for what we have, trying to ruin the risen and the resistance." you acknowledged and she nodded, trying to think of something.

"everyone goes to elysian. the kids, parents, everyone. people who stayed behind are you, ben, me, the guards and pilots." she told you and you sighed, not believing that this was even happening.

"when should we do the emergency evacuation?" you asked and she stood up, picking you up too. "right now. or in five minutes." she stated and you both rushed back to inside the redamancy. you got inside the headquarters and rey stood besides you, your finger pressing the emergency alarm button. "people of the risen, you must all evacuate to shuttles immediately! you will be staying on elysian until further notice! once again, please evacuate, immediately!" you announced in the speaker and tears filled your eyes. of course you got a break for months, but you never wanted evil to appear again. not even inside you.

you heard people rushing their ways to the docking bay and you heart was hurting. in pain and aching. "what now?" you asked rey and she looked out the window while shuttles flew away.

"now, we wait and make sure no one turns or gets hurt." she told you and placed her hand on your shoulder, sighing. ben came into the headquarters and you looked at him, not angry or anything. just scared and he saw that on your face. he hugged you, his hand holding the back of your head as it dug into the crook of his neck and you started to cry, holding him. his thumb stroked your head and allowed you to cry it all out.

you and him had to make sure no one would die. that no innocent lives would be taken. you felt a sting in your heart, causing you to fall to the floor and it continued to hurt. rey and ben panicked, towering over you and trying to keep you focused on them.

"my heart, it's hurting. something is hurting." you told them, audible as possible but you could feel yourself getting lightheaded and dizzy. pain was taking over your body.

but for some reason, the pain felt good.
