Friends?/Seunglix

Hello~ would you like to be friends?

Seungmin stared at his small handwriting on Felix's desk, debating on whether or not to erase it before anyone saw it or not

He got to his first-period classroom early specifically to write a note on Felix's desk but now he was starting to think that it wasn't such a great idea

His friends were tired of hearing him constantly rant about his crush that he refused to speak to and they told him that if he didn't make some type of progress this week that they were going to tell Felix to talk to him

So this was Seungmin's introverted way of making progress

Suddenly the bell rang, causing Seungmin to jump. Students started walking into the classroom so Seungmin quickly went to his own seat before Felix saw him at his desk. It was too late now to erase the note without being questioned by a classmate

Seungmin watched anxiously as he saw Felix sit down at his desk and look at his writing

He noticed how Felix looked at it confused for a second but then he saw Felix write something underneath it and he smiled softly,  Seungmin quickly tried to hide his smile so that no one would think he was weird

Seungmin was usually good at paying attention and getting good grades but he couldn't stop glancing and wondering what Felix wrote as a response

It may seem like he was overreacting but this was the first time he had ever attempted to communicate with Felix in the two years he had been admiring him

After what felt like forever the bell finally rang and Seungmin slowly packed up his things, waiting for everyone else to leave the classroom

He walked over to Felix's desk and read...

Umm this is a school desk

It definetly could have gone better but he was happy that Felix even wrote anything back at all

He erased the writing quickly so that no one in the next class would see it, said bye to the teacher, then quickly left to get to his next class

"You guys can't threaten me anymore" Seungmin said as he smiled and sat down next to his friends who all just so happened to be in his next class with him. Which they were free to talk in since their teacher gave up on them after a week of actually trying to teach

"You talked to Felix?!" Minho asked with wide eyes

"No" Seungmin replied, still smiling

"Then what did you...do?" Hyunjin asked him

"I wrote on his desk" He explained and all three of his friends sighed "and he wrote something back so I'm going to do it again tomorrow" Seungmin finished explaining

"At least it's something. Good job Minnie" Jeongin said as Minho and Hyunjin looked unamused

"Thank you, this is why you're my favorite" Seungmin replied "I did something, you guys should be proud of me" Seungmin pouted to his other friends

"I didn't think that you were actually going to do anything, I wanted to make Felix talk to you. It would have been funny" Hyunjin explained

"Your so mean! It would have been embarrassing" Seungmin said defensively

"So...what are you going to do now? Strictly communicate once a day through a desk?"Minho asked making Seungmin pause to think about it

"No?" He replied with uncertainty in his voice

"You haven't thought it through yet have you?" Hyunjin asked and Seungmin shook his head no

"Ask for his number tomorrow" Jeongin suggested

"Write pick up lines" Minho said

"I think its to soon to ask for his number...and I would never write a pickup line" Seungmin explained

"Do you have to develop a good desk friendship before you can ask for his number or something?" Hyunjin asked jokingly

"Yes" Seungmin replied

---time skip---

It was now the end of the day and Seungmin was walking in the hallway with his friends, getting ready to leave school

They walked past Jisung and saw Felix approach him with a hug as Minho and Seungmin both pouted, they knew that the two were only friends but that didn't stop them from feeling jealous

Unlike Seungmin though, Minho would actually flirt with Jisung. It backfired most of the time but at least he still did it

"Hyunjin!" Felix suddenly called out as he walked over to them with Jisung, causing Seungmin to quickly walk away

Felix asked Hyunjin a quick question about one of their classes as Minho complemented Jisung

Afterwords they all caught up with Seungmin again

"Stop running away every time he comes near you, you're going to make him think that you hate him" Hyunjin said as Seungmin turned around to see his friends

"He does not notice my existence" Seungmin replied "writing on a desk is enough progress for now...I'm going to go plan out my next fifty notes to write. Love you guys, bye" Seungmin said as he walked away from his freinds to go to his house

"I should just tell Felix to talk to him" Hyunjin said as they watched Seungmin walk away

"Give it a chance! Seungmin might not make any moves but maybe Felix will" Jeongin replied

"...Hopefully" Minho responded

Idrk what this is rn but it will get better 👍
