~Friday~

Felix walked into his first-period classroom the next day right before the bell rang. He was almost late because he was questioning what he should wear, what he should do, and how he should act around Seungmin

Considering that he had never been on a date he had no idea what he was doing and he was scared because Seungmin had been on dates before and he was worried that he would do something wrong or weird

Eventually, he got himself to calm down and stop freaking out about it all

'it's not even a real date...we are just hanging out as friends' Felix reminded himself then smiled as he let out a breath of relief

Seungmin, on the other hand, was freaking out just as much as Felix was before Felix reminded himself that it wasn't a real date. But Seungmin couldn't exactly do that because he didn't know that it wasn't supposed to be a real date

Seungmin just wasn't showing or admitting that he was nervous in any way but internally he was freaking out. He had been on dates before but it was a while ago and he never went on an official date with the person until after they had already become boyfriends

He has liked Felix for a long time but they just became friends and Seungmin wasn't expecting Felix to ask him out. He was starting to question why he even did

'Does he like me back? That's why people ask other people on a date right?' he questioned but nothing could take his mind off of it or stop him from overthinking all of it

He started panicking even more once he was reminded that they had to present their projects and the teacher told them to go sit next to their partner

Seungmin got up and walked over to Felix's desk and sat next to him quietly

"Oh hi Seungmin" Felix said once he realized that Seungmin was there

"H-hi" Seungmin replied, mad at himself for stuttering when he thought he was going to be able to stay calm...or at least seem like he was calm while talking to Felix

Before they could talk anymore and before either of them could say anything dumb luckily the teacher started calling people up to present their projects

Felix seemed to be getting extremely bored by the fifth project being presented and grabbed Seungmin's hand. Not that it really entertained him but it stopped him from fidgeting and feeling the need to go on his phone

Seungmin smiled softly at Felix who looked like he wanted to fall asleep

A while later the teacher called them up to present so they did, some people seemed suprised to see that they were working together since Felix talked to almost everyone and some had never even heard Seungmin speak before

"Nice" the teacher complimented "Any questions?" he asked the rest of the class and no one seemed interested at all, besides a few people eyeing Felix which happened all the time anyways

Seungmin and Felix went back to where they were sitting and listening to the rest of the presentations...at least Seungmin did. Felix ended up falling asleep while holding Seungmin's hand which Seungmin thought was adorable but he tried to pay attention to class instead of Felix

Once the bell rang Felix woke up and looked around the classroom with a frown "I don't want to be here" he groaned

"How late did you stay up?" Seungmin asked

"I didn't stay up late, school is just freaking boring" Felix explained

"This is why your grades are bad" Seungmin replied as he let go of Felix's hand and started packing up his things

"Aww, Snail forgot to write on my desk today" Felix suddenly said out loud and pouted

Seungmin meant to write on his desk but he barely got to class before the bell rang so he didn't have time. Felix was hoping Seungmin to say something about him bringing up 'Snail' but he was disappointed to see that Seungmin completely ignored the topic

"Bye Felix, see you at lunch" Seungmin said as he got up to leave

"Bye" Felix replied

"You aren't sitting with Felix today" Hyunjin sad to Seungmin as he pulled him over to their usual table

"What? Why not?" Seungmin asked as he reluctantly sat down

"Cause we need to talk"

"Talk to Jeongin...wait, where is Jeongin?"

"He's sick" Hyunjin replied with a sad look

"Oh...well can't you just come to Felix's lunch table with me?"

"No"

"Fine" Seungmin sighed "What do we need to talk about that's so important?"

"Where are you and Felix going for your date?"

"I don't know. Felix said that he would figure something out"

"What are you wearing?" Hyunjin asked

"This?" Seungmin replied

"Are you gonna kiss him?"

"Hyunjin what?! No!"

"Why not?" Hyunjin asked as he rolled his eyes "You've liked him for two years and he asked you on a date. Why would you not?"

"Just because I like him doesn't mean that he liked me!"

"He asked you out dummy" Hyunjin said which caused Seungmin to stay quiet for a few seconds as he thought about it "You should go for it"

"No"

"Yes"

"Maybe" Seungmin replied "I don't want things to be awkward though"

"They won't be" Hyunjin reassured

"I'll think about it"
