Seungmin woke up the next morning and saw 57 text messages from Felix. Some were pictures of completed homework and others said to give him a hint and to answer his phone

All of the text messages were sent around 1 am when Seungmin was asleep but he decided to just wait to write the hint on Felix's desk rather than text it to him

Seungmin wrote quickly on Felix's desk. He said he would give Felix a hint but he never said that it would be a good or helpful one

He went back to his desk and the bell rang a few seconds later

Everyone started lining up at the teacher's desk to tell him who their partner was so Seungmin decided to get in line behind a few other pairs of people

He saw Felix enter the room and pout as he read the note on his desk then wrote something back before going to the line and standing by himself a few people behind where Seungmin was

Seungmin approached the teacher's desk and asked him if he could just work by himself

"Seungmin normally I would agree but the teamwork portion is worth 40% of your grade and even if you do everything else perfectly it will still bring your overall grade down to a B" the teacher explained knowing that Seungmin cared a lot about his grades as Seungmin's eyes widened

"Can I do extra work to make up for the other points?" Seungmin asked but the teacher shook his head no

"I'm sure that there is someone else who doesn't have a partner. Just wait here okay?" The teacher said as Seungmin nodded as he moved to the side of the teacher's desk to wait and sighed when he glanced at Felix. His grade was more important to him than trying to avoid his crush

Finally, Felix walked up to the teacher's desk and gave a small wave to Seungmin before talking to the teacher

"Is there anyone who was absent yesterday that I can work with by any chance?" Felix asked him hopefully

"No, everyone was here yesterday but Seungmin needs a partner so how about you two work together?" He asked Felix who looked at Seungmin for approval

"Sure" Seungmin replied quietly and the teacher nodded as he wrote down their names then told them to go start discussing the project together and they both nodded

People were already sitting at Seungmin's desk so he quickly grabbed his backpack then sat down next to Felix at his desk

Seungmin took a glance at what Felix wrote

"I'm sorry that you have to work with me but hopefully we can become friends" Felix said as Seungmin looked at him but then got nervous and looked back down

"It's okay. I-I hope we c-can become friends t-too" Seungmin replied, trying to calm down so he would stop studdering

"We can work on the project at my house" Felix offered

"Yeah, that works" Seungmin responded

"So do you want to meet after school?" Felix asked

"Today?"

"Yeah, I'm guessing you want to get the project over with... unless that's too soon, you can say no if your busy"

"No, I'm not busy" Seungmin said and Felix smiled softly which caused Seungmin to feel like his heart was melting

"Will you be with Hyunjin, Minho, and Jeongin again? I can meet you at their lockers"

"Yeah"

"We should exchange numbers too right?" Felix asked and Seungmin froze

"Umm...." Seungmin trailed off trying to think of some type of excuse but luckily the bell saved him "bye Felix" he said as he quickly stood up and left, not worrying about erasing the writing on the desk

"Bye?" Felix replied, confused, as he watched Seungmin leave
