~I hope you have a good day!

Seungmin wrote the note then quickly went to his desk as the bell rang

The teacher announced that they were going to do a partner project. He gave them papers explaining what it was then told everyone to tell him who their partner is tomorrow when they get to class

Some people started looking over at their friends. Seungmin didn't really have any friends in that class but he could usually convince the teacher to let him do group projects individually so he wasn't worried about it

Seungmin glanced over at Felix who seemed to be texting someone on his phone. A few seconds later Seungmin saw his phone screen light up from inside his backpack

Considering that most people in the class were now on their phones or talking to their friends now, he figured that it was safe to respond without exposing himself

Felix:
Do you want to be my partner for the project?

Snail:
No

Felix:
But I have no friends in this
class besides you 🥺

Snail:
What about those other
five people that asked you to
be their partner before you
texted me?

Felix:
I wanted to ask you first 😭

Snail:
Stop. No. I have a partner already.

Felix:
...oh

okay then

Snail:
Nooo don't be sad about it, I'm sorry

Felix:
I'm not sad lol I just don't
know who I'm going to be
partners with now, it looks
like everyone else already
has a partner

Snail:
Wow you really don't notice me lol
Not delivered

There is probably someone
who is absent today you
can just work with them

Felix:Yeah hopefully

Seungmin quickly shoved his phone back in his backpack once the bell rang then waited for Felix

After he did Seungmin walked up to his desk and read a small note that said 'thank you♡' which caused him to smile

Seungmin got to his next class and told his friends what happened in the first period

"Minnie, that's so mean. You should just work with him" Jeongin said but Seungmin shook his head no

"I like doing projects by myself anyways though" Seungmin explained

"But Felix doesn't" Hyunjin said, trying to convince him to ask Felix  to be his partner tomorrow

"Do you want to be the cause of him being sad?" Minho asked as Seungmin frowned at them

"He already said that he wasn't sad" Seungmin said as he pulled out a book and started to read, ignoring his friends who eventually just gave up

"Jisung I'm sad" Felix said as he sat down with his friends at lunch and hugged Jisung

"Why?" Jisung asked as he hugged Felix back

"Did the snail kid reject you?" Changbin asked

"Yes" Felix said dramatically as they looked at him confused "he didn't want to be my project partner"

"You barely do any work when you do partner projects" Chan said as he continued eating

"Shut up" Felix said with a pout

"It will work out" Jisung said, trying to cheer Felix up "I got to go now" Jisung said as he put his phone down and got up causing Felix to look even sadder

"Why?"  Felix asked

"I don't know. Minho just asked me to meet him in the library" Jisung explained

"Oh. Have fun" Chan said with a smirk as Jisung rolled his eyes

"I don't freaking like him" Jisung explained

"Then why are you leaving?" Changbin asked

"Because...I feel like it" Jisung said before walking away quickly

"Now I'm sad and cold" Felix said as he laid his head against the table

"You know Jisung is going to end up with Minho eventually. You should stop refusing to go on dates" Chan replied

"No" Felix mumbled

"Minnie are you okay?" Hyunjin asked as he waved his hand in front of Seungmin's face

"Yeah...I'm just tired, I stayed up really late last night studdying" Seungmin explained as they all started walking to their lockers together as usual

"You didn't seem tired earlier" Jeongin said

"I had caffeine earlier" Seungmin responded

"How late did you stay up?" Minho asked, noticing that Seungmin was struggling to keep his eyes open

"Five?" Seungmin replied, but it sounded more like a question then a statement

"What the heck Seungmin" Hyunjin said

"I got a hundred on the test so it was worth it" Seungmin mumbled

"Hyunjin!" A familiar voice said as the person walked to Hyunjin and gave him a quick hug

It took a minute for Seungmin to connect everything that was happening, he looked up at the person and suddenly didn't feel tierd anymore as his face turned blood red

"Oh hi Felix" Hyunjin replied with a huge smile
