Earik pulls his arms out, closes his eyes and looks away, The Stormcutter tilts it's head confused, smells it, and comes closer, Then The Stormcutter puts his head on Earik's hand and closes his eyes, Earik feels it and looks at the Stormcutter in amazement as he just gained the trust of a dragon, in fact a rare dragon as Stormcutters are very rare near Berk. The Stormcutter looks at Earik happily.

Earik:I will call you BlueNight!

Earik gave him the fish that he had. Then he started to walk back to his house but BlueNight was following him behind, Earik looks back and says...

Earik:Mmmm.... You want to come with me?
BlueNight growls in agreement.
Earik:I mean, I don't think dad will be that angry at me, and anyway I'll get a dragon from the school, instead why not I keep you with me!

Vildor:Aa.... You found yourself a Stormcutter! You have your own Dragon partner!!! That is amazing, now you will be a Defender like me!
Earik:You not angry?
Vildor:Why would be son? I am proud that a ferocious dragon like a stormcutter trusted you!
Earik:Oh, thanks dad! Also I named him BlueNight! Because he has blue spots with black scales.
Vildor:That's a great name! But remember you have to take care of him, bath him, feed him, play with him.
Earik:Don't worry dad! I'll handle it! Now can I go and tell Grace and Ivar?
Vildor:Go! I will tell my friends too!
Earik:Ok Dad! Bye!
