Early in the morning, we were already preparing for our jobs. This is our first job, so we are extremely excited about what will happen in the coming days. We were both ready for breakfast as soon as we got down. Si Felix 'yung naunang bumangon para maihanda 'yung kakainin namin. We couldn't help but smile as we enjoyed our meal.

"I'll do my best, hon, to buy whatever you want," Felix declared imagining what he would do with his first paycheck. "No matter what it is."

"Talaga, hon? Gusto ng cake para magcelebrate," simpleng suggestion ko sa mapangarap kong boyfriend. Already daydreaming even before receiving the salary. "Tsaka wine," dagdag ko pa.

"Masusunod, kamahalan," he bowed and even chuckled at his action. He added some hotdog and fried rice to my plate, saying "Just keep eating so you won't get hungry later. Kain pa."

"Be careful not to pour it all out," I warned Felix since he keeps adding rice to my plate. "Thank you, hon."

"Welcome," sarkastikong sambit ni Felix at kumain na lang.

We both boarded the bus together, but I got off before Felix did. After reading the resume written by an interviewee who asked me kung mayaman ako, I discovered that the hotel named 'Klient' was I'm assigned to in Javaid, Aurora, while Felix's temporary badge ID indicated that he will be working as a bartender at a popular bar in Westchester, Aurora, which is slightly further away from my place of work.

"Ingat, hon," Felix said, standing on the bus and waving me goodbye as I stepped off. I smiled at him and waved goodbye before heading to my workplace.

I glanced at the high building in front of me and smiled before entering. My hair is still wet, but as I step into the elevator, I quickly tuck it behind my ears.

"You're late," a middle-aged woman in her mid-30s greeted me with a scowl. I felt embarrassed and lowered my head. From the very first day, I was already a disappointment. "You're just a newcomers but you're already late," she said with a smirk, and I could feel her gaze on me as she circled around. "What's your name?"

I feel nervous about responding to her, afraid that things might worsen. "Wendelle Laciste. Wendy na lang po."

"Go to room 416 now, the cart is already there. Hurry up! No slacking off!" she shouted, alarming me.

"Opo!"I swiftly snatched my bag and made my way to the locker room to securely store it. Then, I hurriedly headed towards the cart station as my coworkers had directed.

Which room was that again? Room 416 ba o 460?

As I push the cleaning cart, I find myself wondering. "Pasensya na po, madam," sambit ko. I didn't even notice that I accidentally bumped into an elderly woman who was going in the opposite direction in the hallway of the condo. She raised an eyebrow and completely ignored me. Fortunately, it didn't become a big deal for those seemingly expensive people.

I made a turning into room 416.

I knocked as soon as I arrived in front of the room, "Room service." I slowly opened the door and found no one inside as I entered and began cleaning. I cleaned the room that was filled with scattered bottles of alcohol. May mga suka pa na nagkalat sa carpet. It's really frustrating because it's certain that the woman who assigned me this room always expects me to encounter this kind of situation.
