It's like a small thread
wrapped around my wrist.
as I stare at the night sky,
i could feel the thread pull me to the horizon.
i sit up and look up to the stars,
the thread eventually burning my skin,
my eyes stinging with tears,
missing the warmth of your arms.
i know you're tugging for me
and i want to run to you,
but this glass between us
can only make me long for us.
i'll see you soon
with arms wide open.
I'll be waiting to lay my head on your chest,
so you can melt my heart that has been frozen.i'll tug on the thread to see you again
