I didn't know it was you,
until I felt your arms wrap around me,
the refreshing scent of your skin,
reminding me of who I used to be.
I could feel our skin meeting
an awkward silence followed by awkward glances
yet my hand fit in yours perfectly
causing my heart to believe is second chances.
I ignored the pleading calls of my brain,
telling me to run away and to not look back,
but my heart was beating harder,
my conscience turning to echos I could hardly track.hurt? it will always be there.
but what is love without a little bit of hurt?
it's attraction; nothing more, nothing less.
