"Jennifer!" I turned around and say Layla running up to me. "I heard what happened. So who do you choose?" She asked.
"You shall see very soon." I said. I walked around the school and into the class.
Brody came in and sat at the other end of the class. I frowned he always sat next to me.
In fact all through out the day he ignored me. It was free period and Brody and Andrew were just sitting listening to Layla. Suddenly they saw me and Brody left.
"Hey, Andrew can I talk to you?"
"Yeah" he said and got up following me. "So did you decide?" I nodded and smiled.
"So, I was thinking and you are such an amazing guy and I don't know what I would do without you." He smiled at this and I continued. "You have been there for me through it all, but I feel like the lord wants me with Brody. I'm so sorry Andrew. I love you so much but only as a brother." I was scowling now I sighed. "Friends still?" He shook his head and stared at me.
"Sorry but I can't, I'm in love with you and if I can't be with you then fine." He walked away looking mad and dejected at the same time. I frowned and shook my head.
Layla was waiting for me as I got back and she smiled.
"So, it was Andrew?" She asked excitedly. Brody walked off again and I groaned. I walked right after him completely ignoring Layla.
"Brody," I yelled after him. I saw him hesitate but kept walking. I ran to him and turned him around. "Brody, why won't you talk to me?"
"I don't want Andrew to get mad that I'm talking to his girlfriend." He said. "I should go,"
"Even if I'm with Andrew, why wouldn't you want to be friends?"
"I am not the type of guy to steal someone's girl. I may be a jerk or bad boy but I don't steal someone's girl."
"And how could you possibly do that?" I asked.
"Because I'm in love with you!" He yelled. Everyone's attention was on us by now. "I love you and it sucks because I'm not the right guy for you, Andrew is." He started to leave again. This time I stepped in front of him and frowned.
"Are you the judge of that?"
"What do you want with me!" He asked. "If I'm ever going to get over you I can't see you."
"What if I don't want you to go?" He looked at me with shock. I laughed and put my hands on his shoulders. "I didn't choose Andrew, I chose you." He didn't seem to process anything I said. Then it was like a lightbulb went off and he looked at me with awe.
"You mean-"
"Yes, I prayed about it and I thought about it and I new you were the one for me." He picked me up and swung me around. My laugh rang through the hallways and he set me down gently. He hugged me tightly and kissed my head.
"I love you," he said. I giggled and hugged him again.
"I know," we laughed and he held my hand and started swinging it slowly.
"So, I know I'm gonna have to ask and I will, but will you go on a date with me and Lucas with his girlfriend?" I nodded and we walked off to class.
