Chapter 3

I was heading to the library, cue more death stares from Noah's fangirls, but I already used to. By the third period, I was feeling a bit sick so I asked to be excused from class. Everybody was talking more than usual, and I heard the snippets of their conversation- they were talking about me.

''Keely!'' A girl called out.

I sighed and sat down next to Suzy, pulling out my books.

''Have you heard the news, everybody knows about it.'' She mumbled.

''Everybody knows what?'' I raised an eyebrow.

''That you are dating another guy and you are in a relationship with Noah.'' She says.

I let out a deep breath. ''Seriously?''

I should be used to all the death stares by now, but it still gets to me. I didn't know how to respond so I just shrugged.

The rest of the day went over, and need to wait for my brother Miles after school. But girls went in my direction. They are from Noah's Fanclub.

''How dare you to cheat on our Noah.'' She glared.

They strangled my hair and tries to take away my hand from their grip.

''You are such a slut.''

I remember one of them, she is from the English club I registered for. But I didn't continue to attend because Noah is shadowing me then.

Someone slapped me on my cheek. OUCH. The girl practically flew in my face.

''It's not like the two of you good together anyway. You bitch!'' She snarled. She lunged at me and slapped my left cheek. I wish I could say I fought back, but all I could do is was cry.

''Hey! Hit Keely one more time and you're all dead!'' I saw Drayden running towards me. He held my face and asked. ''Are you okay?'' Although he didn't wait for me to answer. ''And if you're not gone in three seconds, I'm going to get angry.'' The girls all scurried away.

I tried to stop crying, but I couldn't. I'm still sobbing.

He told me to bring him home, but I refused. I don't want my brothers to get worried about me. Suzy wasn't able to reach. So I ended up crash his home.

He helped me as we reached his house.

He took the medicine kit and sat down next to me. I already texted Miles that I will stay over to Suzy's house tonight, and don't want to bother them that I am with him.

He gets the buds out of the box and applied ointment.

''Bear with me. This one will burn.'' He says.

I feel a little pain while he treats my wound. We had a chance to gaze at each other in a jiff. I looked away.

I crashed his home, and decide to sleep on the couch after he plastered my wound. He handed me a blanket.

Stared at the ceiling, and his friend Nicholas didn't come over. Drayden and I are only in his house that night. The moment I open my eyes, and it was morning. It's Saturday, so I don't have an excuse to get late for school. I thanked Drayden for letting me crash his home, and for saving me from those girls yesterday.

I couldn't let my smile away, we are in the lunchroom at the school the next day. Noah was sitting next to Suzy at our table.

''I am sorry about what happened.'' He mumbled.

"Why are you smiling?'' Suzy asked.

''No, I am not," I say.

''Hale calls me and asked if you did sleep well last night because all they know that you crash my house. Do you want to tell me something? Do you keep a secret from your best friend?'' She muttered.
