Chapter 10

Ryujin's Pov

Where would she go? Ahh! She always wants to see pets whenever she's upset or something is bothering her. The pet store is on the first floor. I went in and saw her back facing me as she was admiring the husky in front of her.

"Hey," I greeted.

"Why are you here?" she asked in a harsh tone.

"I should be asking you, are you okay?"

"That's none of your business Ryujin, it's not like you care anyway." She walked out of the store and outside of the building. What is this girl doing?

"Lia, wait for a second. What happened? Is there something wrong?" I asked her again starting to get annoyed.

"Go away, Ryujin. I'm serious."

"As I said, no"

"OH MY GOD RYU! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" she screamed and covered her face. 

"No, not until you tell me what's wrong with you. Don't even lie to me, Lia." I grabbed her waist and pulled her close to me. Wow, she looks even more beautiful and her lips, I just wanna shower those with kisses.

"You wanna know what's wrong? I'm annoyed at how you were giving me the silent treatment when I didn't know what I did wrong. You weren't even paying attention to me at the store and when your friend came you left me just like that. I'm angered by the fact that no matter how much I wanna be mad at you, I can't. I'm mad that I'm jealous even If I don't have the right to." says Lia letting out all her frustrations and cried.

"I'm so sorry dumpling. I didn't mean to make you cry like this. I'm really sorry, okay?" I tried to wipe her tears away but was pushed back.

"I'm gonna call a taxi. I'm sorry I ruined your moment with your girlfriend." 

"Lia, she's not my-"

"You don't have to explain anything. I know and I understand. I could never compete with her, she's much more prettier than me." I had enough with her nonsense. 

I cupped her face and kissed those lips I've been dying to taste. Damn, I feel like I'm in heaven. Is this even real? After a second, I felt her kissed back and pulled her even more closer. 

I broke the kiss, our foreheads touching. "You cut me off before I could even explain. I'm not letting you say all that nonsense. Lia, she's my cousin for god sake, I'm not about that incest life."

"Oh," she said with flushed cheeks.

"Is that all you want to say?" 

"Why did you kiss me?" she asked.

"I've kept my feelings for you contained for as long as I could but tonight I just couldn't. I am in love with you even though it's so sudden, please believe me. There is so much about you that most guys or girls don't see. My feelings for you grow more and more every day, you don't know how much you mean to me. The first day that I saw you in the cafeteria, my whole world stopped. I know I lied to you when you thanked me for saving you from that asshole. I really wanted to beat the shit out of him for treating you like that." I chuckled and wiped her wet tears away. "Just seeing your smiling face or hearing your heart-melting voice just brightens up my worst days and makes them so much better. Or just having you give me a hug makes me all warm and tingly inside. I dream of you day in and day out and you're all that's ever on my mind. I am in love with you and have been in love with you, Lia." I confessed, happy that I don't have to keep this inside me anymore. 

"Ryujin, you don't know how good it feels when you said that. Gosh, words can't even express how happy I am right now. I can't even find the right words to tell you. I like you Ryujin hell I'm in love with you too." She sobbed and buried her face into the crook of my neck.

I chuckled and rubbed her back. "Why are you crying?" 

She didn't answer but wrapped her hands around my neck, not wanting to let go. We probably look so weird to other people right now. 

"I really wanted this to be more special but since we are here I might as well. Choi Jisu, will you make me the happiest girl alive and be my girlfriend?" I asked nervously.

She pulled away and wiped her tears before saying, "Yes." 

I screamed and picked her up from the floor. "YESSSSSS"

"Put me downnnnn" 

"Seriously? You're my girlfriend now? I get to call you mine?" I put her down cupping her small beautiful face.

She nodded and squirmed. I stood upon the bench that was near us and yelled, "EVERYONE, CHOI JISU IS FINALLY MY GIRLFRIEND"

"Ryujin, stopppppp" She laughed and pulled me down.

"I promise to be the best girlfriend to you my dumpling," I said and kissed her again.

"You already are Ryu."
