Chapter 2

Ryujin's Pov

Whoever invented school and alarm clock can go to hell. I just want some sleep, is that too much to ask? I harshly tapped the snooze button and forced myself to get out of bed.

6:30 am

I sighed and went straight to the shower. I already had my school uniform ready last night when Yeji and Yuna left. I have to stop by their house and pick them up. Oh, that's right I can't drive myself to school yet since my parents want me to be guarded all the time. Jeez, what are people gonna think about me?

After I took a warm and relaxing shower, I immediately changed into my uniform, fixed my hair and did my face routine. Now that I'm ready, I grabbed my backpack and headed down to the living room. I was surprised to see the dining table with food and one chair out.

The butlers saw me and motioned me to sit on the chair, "Your parents went to work early this morning Miss Ryujin, they had to travel to Daegu for an emergency meeting. They won't be back till tomorrow."

"Thank you, I assume they told you to prepare breakfast for me every day now that I'm back ?" I asked and he slowly nodded. "You don't need to prepare my breakfast starting today, I'd rather you guys and the rest of the maid take a rest. I don't eat much in the morning anyway."

"But Miss, it's an order from your parents. We would be in trouble if we don't follow their orders." the head butler said.

"I know and that's why I'll be talking to them about this. Come on, join me for breakfast." They hesitated for a second before finally joining me to eat.

"Thank you so much Miss Ryujin." I smiled at them and ate my food.

The SUV picked me up at the front of the house and I greeted the guards. I took out my AirPods, relaxed in my seat, and listen to music. Ugh, I hate the thought of two built men in all black clothes following me all day. This day is gonna be interesting.

Yeji and Yuna got in the car. "WOAH A TV IN THE SUV??" Yeji gasped as she saw all the cool tech and snacks.

"THE SEATS LIT UP AND HAS A MASSAGER!" Yuna then yelled.

I nodded, "I'm sorry guys, I wanted to pick you up in my own car but you know how my parents are so overprotective."

"Ryujin you've got nothing to apologize for, your parents already explained it to us," says Yeji.

"I agree with Yeji, so are they gonna follow us all day?" Yuna whispered in my ear.

I sighed and nodded, "Unfortunately, yes."

"Alright we'll head to the office first and pick up your schedule then we'll head to our classes." Yeji was still shocked.

I nodded once again and the two took the advantage of messing with the tv that was in front.

Lia's Pov

Having to wake up earlier than any student because your student body president can be annoying. Gladly my best friend Chaeryeong is the vice president, she gets to suffer with me.

I had to go to school a little early today to arrange some of the events our school is hosting this year. Prom will be here in a month so we need to start planning the theme.

"CHOI JISU!!" someone screamed my name and hugged me from behind.

"Chae why are you so hyper early in the morning?" I asked.

"Because of you." she smiled widely and I know she's lying.

"Oh really? Are you happy because of me or a girl named Hwang Yeji?" I playfully winked at her causing her to slap me on the arm. "Oww ouch I'm kidding Chae"

"Uhuh yeah me too I was joking." she rolled her eyes at me.

I know that she has a huge crush on Yeji, I mean who wouldn't that girl was really pretty. I constantly tease her every chance I get but I always get a slap in return.

"Anyways, I'm done arranging the things we need for the next event. We just need to finalize it later after school. Do you wanna go to the cafe and do it there?" I suggested while putting the papers in my folder.

"That'd be awesome!"

"Let's go to class? So that you can go see your girlfriend." I winked at her again and this time she gave me two slaps on the same place she slapped earlier. I winced in pain but I didn't care because her flustered face was all that mattered. Chaeryeong has a huge crush on her but she's too scared to start a conversation.

"YAHHH SHES NOT MY GIRLFRIEND" she pouted.

"Soon to be girlfriend"

She tried hitting me again but I was quick enough to dodge her. Oh, it really sucks to be clumsy. I tripped on my own freaking foot. I closed my eyes ready to hit the ground. I was waiting for the impact but it didn't come, I slowly opened my eyes and saw that I was in the arms of a stranger, a really really beautiful stranger. She must be a newbie I've never seen such a pretty face before.

She helped me regain my balance. I was too embarrassed to look at her, "Th-thank y-you." God, why did I have to stutter? I'm pretty sure I'm red like a tomato right now.

I managed to get myself together. She only responded with a nod, I took a good look on her and she's gorgeous, you could get lost in those eyes and her lips made it hard not to taste it.

Chaeryeong snickered and I shot her a glare but she stopped as soon as she saw no other than Hwang Yeji. Now it was my turn to tease her.

"Hi, Chaeryeong." Yeji greeted my best friend. Chae stuttered and stuttered, she gave her a smile and greeted back but she grabbed my wrist quickly leaving.

Once we entered the classroom, I burst out laughing. That was classic! She sat down on the desk and covered her face embarrassed by how she acted.

"Why did I do that? She probably thinks I'm weird now." I went to her side and patted her head.

"Oh Chae, it's okay. It's normal for people to act that way when they have a crush on someone."

"Ohhhh I don't know"

The bell rang telling us that class will start soon, I gave her a hug before going back to my seat. I couldn't stop thinking about that girl, something makes me want to be closer to her. Ugh stop it, Lia, relationships are stupid.

Yeji's Pov

That was so weird, I hope I didn't do anything wrong to make her run away. Maybe Yuna is right, I'm ugly. No no no I'm not ugly, my parents didn't give me these cat eyes for no reason. She did give me a smile so that was points for me. Lee Chaeryeong, I'm going to make you mine.

My thoughts were interrupted when Mark the school's bad boy bumped into Ryujin. "Hey, please watch where you're going," I said, he turned around and gave me the dirtiest look. Trust me when I say that I wanted to punch him on the face.

"Mark, apologize to her," says Yuna while Ryujin stayed silent. Ryujin didn't show any reactions and acts like ice except when she's with us.

"Who the fuck are you that deserve my apology?" he asked.

Oh, you don't know her yet asshole. If you continue this dick ass behavior towards her you'll never set foot in this school again. He is so lucky that Ryujin's bodyguards aren't here, she managed to convince them to stay in the car.

Ryujin smirked and left to go to our first class. Damn, that was kinda hot. Yuna and I then followed her.

"COME BACK HERE, BITCH!" yelled Mark but the three of us continued walking.

I gave him a look and said, "SHUT UP ASSHOLE." Yuna chuckled and gave me a high five. What an incredible way to start the day.
