Chapter 13

The Next Day...

It was 6 am in the morning when Ryujin woke up with a huge headache, she groaned and rubbed her head to ease the pain. She got up touching the cold floor which made her yelp. She made her way to the bathroom and got dressed. 

"You got this Ryujin. Keep your head up, everything will be fine." Ryujin stared at the mirror and winked at herself. She finalized her things and went down to the living room.

"Ahh, my patient is awake!" She jumped at the sudden voice she heard. Heejin was in the kitchen fumbling with medicines. "Here take this."

"What is this for?" Ryujin asked still taking the pills. The other girl gave her a glass of water and took it after Ryujin drank.

"For your heart. These are the medicines you'll need to take every morning." Heejin replied and grabbed her bag. "Let's go?"

"What do you mean?" 

"Girl, you ask way too many questions. I'll be with you at school." Ryujin's eyes widened when she heard the last sentence.

"What do you mean?" 

Heejin chuckled, "Don't worry I won't be by your side all day. I'll be with your guards." 

Ryujin let out a huge sigh as a sign of relief. She wasn't ready to tell her friends yet especially not her girlfriend. Them seeing Heejin with her would raise speculations. The only thing she needs to worry about right now is her date with Lia this Saturday. 

They arrived in school and Ryujin left to go to her classes. She was walking into the halls when someone pulled her into a dark room. The person wrapped her arms around Ryujin's neck and locked lips with her.

The younger girl already knew it was her girlfriend, "Mhmm, good morning baby girl." She grabbed Lia's waist closer to hers.

"Good morning love." 

They shared another kiss but it soon led to a make-out session. Ryujin tapped Lia's behind to tell her to jump, she got the message and Ryujin caught her switching positions where Lia's back was now against the wall.

Ryujin attacked her lover's neck and sucked it as if she was a vampire. Lia moaned with a shaky breath. She loved the way Ryujin's aggressiveness yet gentle way of pleasing her. 

"Cl-class i-is a-a-about to start babe." Lia stuttered turning her head more sideways to give Ryujin more access to her bare neck.

"I don't care." The make-out session didn't last long when they heard the bell ring. Ryujin let out a groaned and set Lia down. "What a cock block."

Lia was flustered on what they just did a second ago and her cheeks were heating up. She couldn't believe they just had their first-ever makeout in school. 

Ryujin pulled out her phone and shined it where she can see her girlfriend's face. She smiled at how adorable she was, blushing with those swollen lips and messy hair. Her hand went up to her chin and kissed her so passionately.

"You better hide those marks baby." She said fixing her girlfriend's hair covering up the hickeys she gave her. "Actually, don't hide it. I want people to know that you're mine." 

"Baby," Lia whined and hid her face into Ryujin's neck. She was embarrassed and happy at the same time. "We are in school."

"Come on, let's get you fixed up and head to class." Lia was back to her normal state when she arrived in school still trying her best to hide the hickeys Ryujin gave her.

Ryujin intertwined her fingers with Lia as they went out of the room. They wanted to make sure no one was outside before they made their way out.

"Boo!" Yuna was on the other side of the door where they couldn't see her. She laughed so hard knowing her plan succeeded, "Losers."

"Hahaha funny." Lia rolled her eyes laughing until she noticed Ryujin who had a pain look while rubbing her chest. "Baby, are you okay?" 

"I'm fine. This dumbass just scared me." Ryujin said hoping they would let it go. Her heart was beating at an abnormally fast pace and she felt a pang of pain. She knows Lia can tell when something is wrong. However this time Lia bought the lie and headed to class. 

"What were you doing there anyway?" Lia asked.

"I saw how you pulled Ryujin in there. Fun time?" Yuna replied receiving a slap on the arm from Lia. 

"Stalker." The monkey added. 

fast forward to lunchtime...

"Love, do you need a drink?" The older girl asked sitting by Ryujin. 

"I already have one in my backpack, thank you for asking," Ryujin replied. She opened it revealing her water and a tiny box of what seems to be pills. Are you serious? 

Ryujin rolled her eyes and hid the medicines in her balled fists. "Guys look." She tried to distract them and took the pills in an instant. 

"What are you talking about, monkey?" Chaeryeong was confused and looked back at her. 

"I don't know, I thought it was something." They chuckled how Ryujin was getting more playful than she was. This was a sign that she's finally gaining a soft spot. They were all laughing except Yeji who saw everything Ryujin just did.

"What's going on with you Ryujin?"  Yeji asked in her head. She gave her one more glance before going back to eat. 

School was finished and the five of them were standing in front of the entrance. "What do you guys wanna do this Saturday?" Yuna asked.

"Unfortunately, Lia and I won't be free this Saturday. Let's go bowling Sunday?" Ryujin answered winking at Lia which made the other girl feel butterflies in her tummy.

"That sounds like a great idea," says Yeji.

"Alright, then it's settled. A group date on Sunday it is." Chaeryeong linked her arms with her girlfriend and gave her a peck.

"Anyways, Chae and I have to go. We have a meeting for the student council. We'll see you guys tomorrow." Lia looked around at first making sure no one else was watching except her friends. She stood in front of Ryujin grabbing her backpack straps and giving her a kiss.

"Nasty!" Yuna covered her eyes and turned away. Both couples seem to be swapping saliva with each other and she acted like she was gonna puke. "Okay, that's enough lovebirds! We are in public for god sake!"
