HEART BREAK

Beta Will's  POV
     
        I had declared Claire the winner even if the air had suddenly become gloomy and what started out as a challenge for her freedom had turned out to break her into a thousand pieces and for the first time I had no idea what to say to make her feel better,   she was headed to the dungeons and I kept wondering why so I tapped Ashton and Stan beckoning them to follow suite so we could at least protect her, I had never seen Claire like that before, she looked so empty and emotionally exhausted, she was like a shell honestly.

When we went to the direction I saw her walk I noticed she had gone into the dark room the former alpha had authorized to be out of bound, I was surprised and curious too, she didn't even bother to turn the lights on, I quickly found the switch and turned it on, we could see her pressing the buttons of a Safe, I didn't know we had one.

We just stood there unsure of what to say while we watched her Read whatever content was in the letters, we had seen the money and other items, it seemed as though whoever kept them there made preparations for Claire to leave, and she seemed to know about this for a long time but my confusion is why didn't she ever even make the attempt to leave, I would have left everything just to take her far away from the misery they put her through, I just stood watching her scan the letter with so much pain that seemed to have occupied her once bubbly and positive aura.

 

  CLAIRE'S POV

          I saw the safe and to my surprise it seemed big, it was settled on the farthest corner of the room, so I stooped low a bit and started typing the password, it was my birth day, if at all he even knew my real birthday, I opened it and brought out the contents, it was a cupid like bag, I ripped it apart and my eyes widened at the amount of money it contained, I looked again and saw an expensive looking jewelry box with my initial, a duffel bag with girly necessities,  and two envelopes, a lot of pictures especially from every birthday I celebrated in the past.
 I looked over at the envelopes and one had a note at the body which stated     "To My Baby Girl. Claire".
  I quickly opened it to see the contents of the letter a choice I shouldn't have made in a haste.. The letter read :
    

             (Baby if you are reading this then that means daddy isn't there  anymore, it also means that you are ready to leave the pack and face life on your own for a bit, read the next letter if you haven't already, be strong baby girl and make sure to find your parents, I believe they left you in my care for a reason, Stay safe my darling,  I am so sorry I couldn't protect you from everything as I always promised you, you will find your mate and he will do better than I ever could.

                   Love,Your Dad.

I quickly opened the other letter and read the content,

         "Dear Alpha Eddie, if you are reading this then you must have seen the baby, I beg in the Goddesses name that you please take her in and treat her as your own, for the purpose of safety, as I am left with no choice but to leave her with you because I know you will keep her safe as you have kept your territory and your pack, I will trust you by telling you that she will not grow to be the regular werewolf,
In times to come she will become the only Seer in the werewolves community, I'm sure you know there aren't any left, she will be a white wolf as already stated in the prophecy, you must not let her shift in the presence of those you do not trust, finally Alpha, please you must do well to train her effectively both in the way of warriors, in the way of queens, in the way of the witches and in the way of the gods and goddesses.   
      Guard her jealously alpha for in the joy that radiates from her will you experience bountiful times that'll bring about great prosperity in your pack but in pain will you experience loss, poverty, deprivation and unimaginable pain..
      May the gods bless you abundantly and may you enjoy all that comes with her presence exceedingly"

Sadly and unfortunately it was a confirmation they were not my biological family.
  I was now completely crushed, 20 years of existing in this cruel world and I didn't even have the simple opportunity to be with my parents, I was so crushed that I didn't realize when I let out the loudest scream into the darkness, I could feel the earth vibrating and I knew in that moment that I couldn't control my powers for long,  I could feel myself being lifted in the air and I could feel myself been wrapped in a cocoon of bright light, in the midst of my screams I saw Ashton coming towards me, he kept mumbling something incoherent and I tried to pay attention in the midst of my confused state,
         

   " You've been through so much Claire, and I can't even pretend to understand but princess if you don't take control you will end up ruining everything including us, you can feel the ground shaking and soon enough you will loose absolute control, I'm sure you don't want that to be the way this ends so please be calm and let us help you ease the pain you are feeling "

I didn't understand anything but I also knew with all my heart that I would be safe with him, I wasn't okay, I was broken but I would let them help me, I tried to calm down as much as possible, I could feel myself slowly being brought back down..
I couldn't cry anymore I just kept weakly whimpering in pain till I suddenly felt the darkness take over and I just let it take me at that point.

   KING ASHTON
 
    I Was still shocked at the sight of her beating her alpha up mercilessly, and when that witch told her they weren't her biological parents I could practically feel her heart shatter into tiny pieces, watching her walk away in misery was a sight I will make sure to never see again and   when Will asked that we follow her to wherever she was headed I obliged, for reasons I can't explain I was feeling this woman's pain tip to toe and it was really unbearable, for the first time in my life I didn't know what to do or even say.

We followed her to the room and watched her open the safe, read the two letters that we still didn't know the contents but suddenly she started screaming in so much pain, I had never heard anyone scream like that,  it was so loud and piercing, I turned to see Will and Stan walking slowly  towards her but she was still too loud,   I suddenly felt a pull towards her now broken and empty self been lifted in the air, I had no clue she was an elemental but that was a conversation for another day, I could feel the confusion from the way she was staring blankly at me.

This wasn't the woman who had fallen from the bed and started stomping her feet like a child this morning, this wasn't the woman who would rather rub ice cream in your face just for amusement purposes than actually put it in her mouth, this wasn't the woman who said she was honored to be in my bed and that she would die a peaceful death knowing she slept in the King's bed, this wasn't a woman who laughed at my discomfort when been hounded by Stan and Will, this was a woman who was loosing control and had no idea how to go any further, I said the first thing that came to mind and thankfully   she became  too tired to even keep her eyes open so i went closer to her and picked her  up bridal style and asked them to pick everything up they found in the safe, we would leave this place first light tomorrow, but not before I finish melting out the punishment they all deserve for the horror they had put her through.
