ENCOURAGEMENT

Guys, this is also a filler chapter, when you read on I'm sure you'll see why..

CLAIRE: 
   
          I was still seated at the dinning table in shock and lots and lots of thoughts, mostly thoughts of the life that awaits me in the castle, rumors had it that the castle was so magnificent  and big that one could even drive in the hallways, I couldn't believe my life could get better.    Now there was only one thing standing in the way of my freedom and I would make sure he would kiss the dust in my boots before that happens...
  
I could sense the now familiar energy from within that signified more visions  but I was too tired now to let it come.

While I pondered what could have been unsaid, I looked up to find the king, and his betas coming towards me, I had grown comfortable with them in such a short time, maybe because they were the only lights of rays I had in my life currently. 

Once they were within arms reach  I got up and hugged Beta Will with all my might, believe me I would never dare get this close to him, I trusted him with my life and he was the only person who never gave up on me even when my own family did.

hugging him this close today was something I'd wanted to do for so long and maybe I finally felt this confident  because I knew deep inside I was leaving this place one way or the other.

he was the first to pull away before he cupped my cheeks and wiped the tears  with his thumb that I didn't even realize I was shedding when we hugged .

    "it's okay princess, I finally have the power to keep you safe and I'll be damned if anyone or anything tries to hurt you anymore, you are the sister I never got, you saved my life more time than I could count, you trusted me with your deepest secrets and for That you have earned my love, respect and loyalty, nothing is stopping me from leaving this place without you, Hear me?"
  He said looking at me with a deep level of love I only saw in my father's eyes so I nodded, unable to form words.

His words were the solace I desperately needed hence I was quick to nod cause I couldn't find my voice.

   " we may not know each other much Claire, but my  friend here cares deeply about you as a sister, by reason of that you just became my sister,  and I'll be damned as well before I let them touch you again, whether or not you win the fight you are leaving this poor excuse of a junk yard and they will have to go through us before they hurt you any further".    Beta Stan said pulling me to himself and engulfing me in a hug, and I just cried holding him like my life depended on it,  for some reason I trusted the three of them to keep me safe, it felt Iike I had known them my whole life and I knew they wouldn't leave me here..

    "Naturally I wouldn't even interfere with the fight cause unfortunately I made those Rules,  but I had made the decision to keep you safe the minute I set eyes on you,   I give you my word as King that they will have to go through me to get to you,  my beta sees you as his sister and by virtue of that you have become my responsibility Claire, I care about you and no one in the world is going to touch a strand of your hair, so tomorrow the choice is yours, you can fight or not but I'd rather you kick his ass so you can return the same level of humiliation they have put you through "    
the king said also pulling me to him in a really tight hug, and that's when the Nile was set free, I cried my heart out, no one had ever stuck up for me except Beta Will, but now I have three royals vowing to keep me safe and giving me my freedom, in that moment I realized that even Cole couldn't do anything to keep me here.

Suddenly the other men also joined the hug, and I was just like a cub in the midst of  lions, so little but safer than I thought was ever possible, we stayed like that for a while and suddenly my traitor of a stomach started grumbling  so loud, I guess they heard too cause they pulled away and started laughing and Stan mocking me for declaring a challenge when I hadn't even had the thought to eat.

I sat back down and the king ordered dinner be served for only the four of us and his warriors, the pack maids whom I didn't know existed before this moment brought the food, glaring at me like I stole their last meals, Its been so long since I was served food best of all in a dinning table, usually I would do the serving and wash the dishes, today had to be the best day of my life yet.

We ate in a comfortable silence and after the meal we talked about a lot of things including  the King's sister and how much she would love me, it's weird cause I'm not used to having girls around me who actually liked me..
   
I was later dragged up to beta Will's room to sleep there and get my much needed rest,      I had feigned fake protest, and whined about how I didn't want him to be uncomfortable because of me,  (Ha  !!  . As If!!!).  

Definitely It was now early in the morning cause I could feel someone tapping me and asking me to wake up, I wasn't a deep sleeper so I was awake at the first tap but was really afraid to even open my eyes incase everything that had happened was nothing but a dream and I was gonna wake up to my reality.

      "I know you are awake child".
Of course she'd know.

    "*Hello angel"
I partially grumbled before shifting so I could place my head on her laps where she'd always play with my hair.

      "I'm glad you are here angel mostly because I was hoping I could make a request"
I was basically mumbling and I'd hoped she could understand.
   
  "Speak my child"

    "you  said that it would be a while before I got my wolf back, it was okay  because I trust you but unfortunately  I got myself into a situation, is there  a chance that I could get Moon back?    I can't fight an alpha without her"

    " I know all that has happened my child,  the time came and that's why it had to be that way,   your wolf will be with you during your fight, but let it be known that the second the outcome of your fight is announced your wolf will leave you once again, but I assure you that this time it will be for a very  short period of time "

    "Why do you keep taking her away from me anyways? I do trust you but I'm curious "

     " There are certain events that cannot be allowed to simply happen else they will interrupt the flow of other things, such events are the ones that are currently in motion and if your wolf were by your side you would be too distracted to make things right by you, Sleep now my child, it will be a longer day than you can even imagine,  I will see you soon and until then enjoy all that has been given. "
     SELENE said tucking the now sleeping Claire back into bed to avoid further questions from the curious girl.

It's chapters like this and the last three that actually makes me want to stop and give up on writing this book.

I'm choosing to believe I feel that way cause it's my first attempt at writing.
