IT'S TIME

KING ASHTON

I had set out for the Silver Creek Pack this morning with plans of arriving there at least before noon, I had heard so much about them in the  past, I never got to visit because other things would always distract me.

for the first time I felt a pull towards them and I had been waiting and praying all night that this be where my answers lay, I couldn't wait to meet this person, SELENE had told me that I would find my mate soon but definitely not in my search this time, rather it will be immediately I got back home, I am unsure  what that means, but this pull is driving me insane.

This strange woman had done nothing but invade my thoughts and the more I seek distraction the more she occupies my thoughts, it's really weird cause I have never met her before.

CLAIRE

I woke up on the kitchen floor, with dried blood littered all over the place, I grimaced and tried getting myself back up,  I got a mind link from the Luna asking me to go clean up and be ready cause our guest were already in the southern border, which meant they would arrive around the hour.

I managed the pain I felt and rushed up to the  Beta so he could help me with my wound considering the fact that there was only so little I could get from The absence of Moon, he helped clean my back, and thankfully it had healed only leaving a little ache here and there.

I ran back to my room, had my bath, wore the only formal  blue flay knee length dress I had and brushed my hair forcing it into a decent ponytail so it would allow me work, rocked my black flat shoes, they were given to me by beta Will on my 19th birthday and it's the one gift I'd never forget, I swiped my dress to look more decent, wasn't into makeup in the first place so I looked at the mirror and realized that I was beautiful and it's the one thing I really believed in, I never lost sight of that fact, I never allowed the things they said or did change my views about myself, I know I am above their low mindedness, pettiness and cruelty, and for that I was grateful to whichever god gave me the strength to keep thinking positively, and my wolf Moon, she never for once allowed me to look down on myself, yes there were times when I was at my lowest and I would wish for the worst, I would talk down on myself or I would say that I didn't deserve the good things that would come my way through Beta Will, somehow Moon would remind me how regardless of their cruelty I was still worth more than a million bucks.

I rushed back to the pack house, and started readying everything..
I had been told that our guests had arrived already and were merely exchanging pleasantries outside..

ASHTON':

We had finally arrived in the silver creek pack, it's a little different from what I remember when I used to visit with my father as a child, now it looks so dull and nothing special or fancy, except of course the beautiful she wolf's littered everywhere,  the one that was introduced as the gamma's sister might do good in some extra curricula activities

"If you dare consider going even a pace closer to that tiny looking fiddle, you might as well count yourself wolfless, I have endured your flirtatious and unreasonable affairs with those other poor excuses for she wolves, but if you as much as go anywhere close to this one then I'll be gone for good Ashton"  Greece suddenly spat, more like threatened me

I have never been this startled in the longest years of my existence, never thought I would witness the day Greece would actually threaten to leave me, for us werewolves if our wolf's suddenly leaves us then we become empty shells, more like walking dead.

"Relax Greece, I will not go even a pace close to her, you don't have to get so bipolar up there" i said cutting my link with him..

"Welcome to our home my king" Alpha Cole said extending his hand.

"Thanks for having us Alpha Cole "
I replied  taking his  hand in a firm hand shake, I could feel him squirm a little which caused me to look down at him and quickly wondered how this one who couldn't handle a firm hand shake was an alpha.

"Come now and freshen up while the table is been set for lunch".
He said leading me and my crew into what I assume to be the pack house.

I had been given a room beside my Beta and my warriors occupied the rooms down the hall, for a pack house it kinda looked all stuffed up, the rooms were a bit nice and the blankets were soo cozy that they had a homey feel to it.

I really needed to meet whoever sew their blankets to make me one as fluffy and thick as this ones so I could gift them to Aurora, she had a thing for really fluffy blankets.

I had finished taking my bath and changed into my sweat pants and white T shirt, I needed my comfort at least for lunch, I had finished dressing when a knock sounded on the door, it wasn't my warriors, that scent was that of someone I definitely didn't know,and it made me cringe cause I couldn't bring myself to understand why anyone would apply so much perfume, I'd caught wind of it earlier on when I had just arrived but I couldn't place which of these weird looking people owned it.

"Who's there? " I asked.

"It's Mandy my king"  I heard her from the other side of the door,

"How may I help you Mandy?" considering Greeces warning as regards this particular she wolf, i wasn't about to tick him  off by letting her anywhere near him, hence i didn't let her in.

"Well I was asked to come inform you that lunch is ready and has been served at the dining room " she said still from the other side of the door..

  "Mandy I'm sure there are maids and what not to deliver such messages, anyways thanks, I'll be down shortly, you may leave now". I replied conclusively  not leaving room for more words to be exchanged ..

I immediately mind linked my beta and the rest of the crew, demanding they join me so we could go down to the dining room together.

I led the way to the stair case only to be met half way with the most beautiful girl I have seen in my entire life, I thought. Cardy and the other girls I had met in the past were beautiful but this woman reminded me so much of Selene herself, long silver hair, tall, curvy,  she was fucking beautiful, and to think that I hadn't seen all of her, no woman beat her beauty I knew that much.

I was so lost in thought that I didn't realize my beta and the rest of my team whistling so loudly that other pack members began to gather in the stair case, she wasn't even looking at us, she kept her head bowed, even when I was begging anyone above to just make her look up, instead she bowed really low and ran off.

I stood there really shocked mostly because I couldn't attribute her actions to shyness, no. That was the behavior of someone who had been told never to look up unless when asked to, in this modern age how the hell do you look down till you are asked to do otherwise or maybe asked to leave the presence of the authority,  it was things like this that I had made sure to address in my visit to the other packs and I planned on doing same here.
