After changing my clothes, I was surprised to find that my best friends had packed all my pajamas and casual tees. However, they left no outfits for me to wear if we had to go out. I shrugged it off and headed downstairs to find them all seated on the sofa, discussing serious matters. They didn't even acknowledge my presence as I stood behind the sofa.

Feeling left out, I suddenly screamed, "Boo!" The three of them were startled, and Harsh, being our little scaredy-cat, screamed for two minutes and even started chanting prayers. We looked at each other, shocked, before laughing at Harsh's expense.

"Are you sure you're a lawyer?" I asked Harsh with a smirk on my face.

"Are you sure you weren't planning a 5 year old's princess-themed birthday party instead of a wedding? " he teased. This caused us all to chuckle while looking at my Cinderella shorts and the three fairies tank top.

It was my clumsy me that unknowingly broke the vase next to me as I moved ahead to punch him.

"And here we thought you would be a dignified bride, but you're more of a troublemaker," Harsh said, grinning mischievously. I rolled my eyes and punched him in a playful way, eager to hear what they had to say next.

We laughed again, but Manan cut us off. "Stop, you guys! Let's eat," he said. Then, he looked towards me and said, "We have to tell you something significant."

I couldn't help but feel nervous at Manan's serious tone. "What is it? Is everything okay?" I asked, my heart pounding faster.
