'Oh my god!' I exclaimed and we both hugged each other. 'I am so glad you came!'
'How couldn't I?' she said and smiled at me. 'Oh! by the way, I want you to meet my husband, Tanzeel.'
'Hey. Congratulations on your marriage and sorry we didn't make it up on time.' He said. Oh wow, Ashi doesn't has a bad choice, I must say.
'Oh no problem. I am glad you guys came and that is enough to me. And also, hey to you too! I hope you are taking care of my little sis.' I said.
'Of course, I am!' he replied, I nodded.
'You think the everything will go as planned?' she asked me.
'Why fear? when Vedika here? Also, I have two surprises for you. One you already know and second, uhm let's just say, you will love it.'
'I hope so.' she said.
'What you don't trust me? I am hurt.'
'I do trust you, but not your plans.' she said.
'It didn't help in anyway.' I said playfully, 'Anyways, let's just get to the plan.' I said and they nodded. Manan and I decided to call Ashi and Tanzeel to our wedding so that Ashi and Harsh could solve their problems and get back together. Ashi was a good friend of mine, during our college days, later we drifted somehow as she went to another college.
I called Manan, to bring Harsh and Rishab near the lawn. Rishab, too knew about our plan. 'Are you guys ready?' I asked them.
##ASHI'S POV##
'Are you guys ready?' Vedika asked. I was not sure what should I answer, in fact I don't even know if I am ready to face my brother, my twin brother. He didn't deserve all the pain that I caused in his life. I know, I should have told him about Tanzeel and mine relationship. But, I don't know I just could not say.
Tanzeel, saw the look on my face and asked me if I were okay? I just shook it off. I saw three figures coming near us. Every step they took, I shivered. Ashi, let's do this. I whispered t myself. soon, they were now standing in front of us and Harsh stared at me, a look that frightened me. I just gulped, looking at his scary face. He was about to turn around and walk away but Rishab and Manan stopped him.
'Bro, just listen to her once. Please.' Manan said.
'Yeah please. You have to do this one day, why not today?' Rishab said.
'Yes. And plus you promised me you would.' Vedika said.
'Fine, whatever.' Harsh said. I took a deep breath and said
'Harsh, I am really very sorry. I should have told--
'Yeah you should have. Is it done? I am busy, now if you'll excuse me.' He said. Now the tears that both him and I were controlling, started shedding.
'Please Harsh, listen to me. I know, I should have said you. But I couldn't. I just could not. Everything was getting so chaotic. Tanzeel's parents fixed his marriage with some girl, richer than us just to put us down, hearing this, our parents started forcing you, in spite, of the fact, that they knew you loved someone else . There you, were stressed and so frustrated about the forced marriage because you were dating someone else, you didn't want to marry anyone but her. I could not tell you, because you were so frustrated that you did not eat for 2 days and were for a room arrest and you were so upset about your girlfriend. I tried talking to you, but you didn't open your room's door. Tell me Harsh, didn't you push me away? I had no other choice than to run away. I called you on the landline after running away, but dad picked then you know what happened.' I said.
He hugged me so tight and I hugged him back, tight, very tight. We kept crying. I felt so good, finally. Finally, we are back.
'I AM SO SORRY, ASH. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE FOR YOU, RATHER THAN PUSHING YOU AWAY. I WAS SO MESSED UP, BACK THEN. WHEN YOU LEFT I WAS SHATTERED. YOU KNOW, I AM NOTHING WITHOUT YOU.' He said.
'I know, I know' I replied with a giggle and hugged him again. I am never letting you go again, he whispered, 'even me' I replied.
